Very good lesson! I never knew about that third thumb position that helps you get more hook or get the birdie when it's way behind you. Nice!

I am curious about your footwear. It sounds like those shoes have hard soles and heels. Common thinking is that softer is better for grip. What can you tell us about your footwear, please?
