I think this could be one of your best videos yet. It's atmospheric and the music captures the mood perfectly. I appreciate the effort it takes to set up the camera for ride-by shots, not easy in the rain. Looking forward to part two!
ОтветитьAnother amazing adventure Susanna. Showcasing the versitality of the Brompton. Thank you so much for sharing and allowing us to accompany you on your travels.
ОтветитьLovely video Susanna and thanks for reminding me what cool damp weather feels like. As I type this the UK is basking in a heatwave and high humidity. Looking forward to part two :)
Sandy
Kul att se dig igen!🚴👍
ОтветитьSo great you are back on the saddle again. I waited already for your next adventures in 2025. You Look very good and I hope you are well. As I wrote to you a couple of months ago, you are a big inspriation. Thanks for letting us ride with you.
ОтветитьBring a power bank and navigate via Google Maps. Turn the screen off to save power. Check a credible route since it sometimes suggests paths across fields etc.
ОтветитьHow exciting! We missed you!
ОтветитьThank you for another uplifting film! Already looking forward to Part II 🤗
ОтветитьI love to see a new video from you. And i love the german landscapes you are cycling , as my mum was from hamburg. I hope you are doing well and i look forward to more videos. regards jörg
ОтветитьIt is the lovely and inspiring Susanna Thornton!❤😊 Good to see you again, Susanna!!!
ОтветитьAnother great video Susanna. I so admire your positivity in the rain !! Navigation is difficult enough without the interference of poor weather ! I use BikeMap on my ‘phone and download the routes beforehand. I use a battery pack mounted beside my ‘phone to lessen the risk of no charge. It works for me but then I am usually lucky with the weather.
ОтветитьSusanna, what time of year were you doing this trip? And I am a leisure cyclist, semi-retired, and I want to go touring too. When I see people in weather like you were cycling in, I always think, what if Susanna had gone south instead of northeast? Could it have been sunny?😂😅😊
ОтветитьAgree with you on the cycling, can’t beat a nice ride,I find you inspiring, read your article in this edition of Cycle…….have you thought of getting a Garmin or Whahoo cycle computer, you can program routes into them
ОтветитьNot Cult! Heathen/Pagan. They were not a Cult but a pre-christian religeon!
ОтветитьReally your best video, thank you for this beautiful sharing. Greetings from Marseille.
ОтветитьBrilliant as usual . Do you have a video of your kit. Love the poncho thing. Even with a Garmin I get lost in the rain and have to stop constantly on a tourer. Just purchased a C line and you’re truly inspirational
Ответить"Having a really nice time with absolute minimum of stuff you need" sounds absolutely wonderful. 😀
ОтветитьAnother nice adventure! Always impressed by your positivity and how you are able to bring everything needed in such a small package. I loved the camp site by the lake :)
ОтветитьWhat an amazing person you are.
ОтветитьTop draw as per usual, really looking forward to the next one, ride safely and thanks for taking us along: Russ 👍🏼🏕🚴♂️☕
ОтветитьGreat journey 👌💪 well done
ОтветитьCome for the brompton adventure , and stay for the positive vibes from this channel , thank you for the sharing.
ОтветитьThank you for posting. Looking forward to the next ones.
ОтветитьRewelacja, podziwiam!
ОтветитьI started following your cycling adventures recently and binged most of your videos! You are an inspiration and a reminder how little one needs to feel free and happy! Thank you!
ОтветитьHi Susanna what a great adventure and video. Great to see you out and about again on the brompton
ОтветитьYay, the season starts again. Thanks Susanna, I love travelling with you! 🚴🏼👍😃
ОтветитьLovely to see you’re back Susannah !
You have been such an inspiration for me , that I’m currently touring on a Brompton I purchased in Haarlem, and heading towards France. (I’m a Kiwi)
I had the front rack for the Ortlieb pannier made, from the dimensions you sent me. It works perfectly 😊
Thanks again - looking forward to part 2 .
Lynn ❤
🌳👁💚👁🌳
ОтветитьWhat did the Eurostar cost you?
ОтветитьNice to see you on a trip again! Lovely places and of course the bad signings in Belgium hahahah! Tnx for sharing Susanna
ОтветитьThose old houses are amazing!
ОтветитьGreat video amazed at all the best you get on the bike is it 6speed
ОтветитьWell about time🎉.
ОтветитьAnother really enjoyable video Susanna, it’s great to see you again. I’ve been wondering whether you use the standard Brompton saddle or if you have replaced it with something else. I’m looking for some alternative saddle recommendations for my own Brompton! I hope you have a happy summer of touring ahead, I’ll look forward to more videos!
ОтветитьGreat video Susanna, and I like your positivity in the rain! You’re putting me to shame. I’m watching your video in my micro camper at the end of a 3 week trip to Scotland, my Brompton tucked away under my bed … where it has stayed for the entire time 😂. Unlike you, I’m not so keen on cycling in wind and rain. Looking forward to part 2. PS. Maybe your husband should go into business making cycling capes - I’d buy one!
ОтветитьYea!A new video. Love your adventures.
ОтветитьPancho? Never could make those work - awkward, thumb straps etc … would love to … how do you make work?
ОтветитьI use a lithium ion battery pack to boost my phone when biking. Works great, but charging phone and pack may be a problem for you.
ОтветитьThanks for taking us along with you on this journey. I admire your courage cycling and navigating those city roads……too scary for me😱
Ответитьgreat content! really enjoyed the edit, it flowed very nicely. thanks
ОтветитьYou are inspirational 😊👍
ОтветитьThanks, great film. Thanks also for the recipes, was pleased to see the return of the pancakes! Partly inspired by you, I’ve just bought a 2nd hand folder to fix up (Trek/Dahon, not a Brompton). Hoping to do some bus/coach/train mini-adventures. Looking forward to the next part, hope the weather improved for you. All the best x
ОтветитьDo you use a 500ml flask or 750ml for your coffee? Might seem a silly question, but I’m going to treat myself to one and just wondered if the 500ml would be enough on a long ride! Great video, you’re so brave! I’m heading off on a little camping tour next week, staying on campsites though, inspired by your trips!
ОтветитьYay!!! Another video and trip! Can't wait for part 2, thank you so much for all your work sharing your adventures with us!!!!
ОтветитьYou are my hero ❤ I love your videos, your way to explain and explore with your Brompton 🧡. I am learning “with you”. Thank you so much and “please don’t stop” bringing us with you 😊
ОтветитьWelcome back. We, your dedicated followers, have been looking forward to yet another adventure. Yes, I agree, there is something special about cycling in the rain, albeit not through an unknown city.
I solved my navigation problems by connecting an old iPhone to a battery pack and mounting it, using a waterproof case, to my handlebar.
I have thought about you often, and you helped me, as I struggled with medical issues after my last adventure. Thanks for always being positive.
Peter from Florida.
Great adventure, thanks for sharing, I worry about catching trains in this country never mind abroad. That 1st class section looked very cool. You are an inspiration, looking forward to nxt video. Thanks.
ОтветитьI've just found your channel this morning, do you have a list of the equipment and kit you use on your trips?
ОтветитьNice to see you setting off on another adventure. It is always intriguing to see your perspective on the ground.
I meet the move interesting people while touring in North America. The most interesting are the people that have been touring for months at a time.
