We went to Reddish Knob in the Fall when I was in college and what I noticed was the mixture of white pines and various colored maples. Beautiful combination!
I was amazed that white pines were native to the area. I think my Mother had to buy a white pine for us to have one in New Kent.
The covered bridge was certainly another Kodak moment!

Vlogtober day 23 . Getting your steps in. We did that same tour but didn't do the whole hike. Lauren , those were stunning pictures of the ridges. Got to love that curved covered bridge.

We live just outside of Fincastle, VA, so these gorgeous sights are all in our neck of the woods and have seen them all. October in Virginia is simply the best!

I’ve lived in Richmond for 8 years and love it but I’m born and raised in Roanoke (Fincastle area- an amazing historical town!) between Roanoke and Covington! There is SO MUCH to do in the Botetourt/ Roanoke area! You could spend a week there and not do it all!
