Hello from France Mark. Me too i wanna than you for "all thoses years of music"! In this world of bad news, crime, violence and war, you were for me and, i know , for so many people, like a light of hope; of joy. Music is that part of us that is deep, beautiful and creative. it makes us better, more serene and more human. It transcends us and permeates us much more than we imagine. The first time I really remember listening to Dire Straits was with Telegraf Road. I was 19 years old and I enjoyed it very well! So thank you and all your musicians for that, for entertaining us and making us dreaming all these years, Mark. You brightened up our lives for a few moments and that was priceless.

My son introduced me to Dire Straights tem in the early 80's. I've been listening ever since. I thought once they went their separate ways that would be it, glad I'm wrong. What a great talent. One of the best guitarist and a very good voice. When he teamed up with Emmy Lou Harris it was amazing.

New York 2019... Such a crazy time, such s symbolic place for me personally.... 😢😢

I just pray that he will do one last tour, a couple more shows. i’m 21 years of age, and the last couple of years has been moved by Mark’s music in such incredible ways, both solo and with Straits. Sadly i did not understand/find the music before it was too late, in regards of seeing Mark preform. I hope i’ll get the chance to see you one day. My Idol, Mark. Thank you for everything you’ve produced, composed, written etc. Nothing has ever come even close to your music in my opinion. A touch of heaven.🎸🙏🏼❤️
