I absolutely love the design tropes the first few big weapons have like the NDI Osprey, Not fully sci-fi and half minimalistic but chonky, And like that you can see some inspirations, Like the Erebus for example reminds me of the Monolith Arms P-12, I havent seen a game try to mimic the Monolith Arms P-12 since one of the FEAR games.

The New sniper is sexy AF, especially since you reloaded like your reloading your mix tape on your walkman.

Rasetsu is cool as hell. I'm still wondering if they're ever going to implement the "JSH-X12 Nobunaga" that was detailed to be equipped by the snipers on "Play It Safe"

the magazine of the Rasetsu is just putting a cassette into a stereo haha

The animations need the magazine to shoot towards the ground and make a sound depending on the surface on which it falls and they would be perfect

Im in love with the NDI, honest prob one of the strongest guns in the game

Was so looking firward to rasetsu but i cannot stand having crosshairs on and so this weapon is now just a paper weight ! Why we can't use the scooe on it is just beyond stupid

Metel is basically a hand cannon version of the P08, I love the desgin

Weapon design in this game is gold. Only thing I wish they'd implement is semi auto and auto switch, not a make or break by any means, but a nice touch of realism. 3 round burst is a little pointless to me when you have full auto and semi auto. Both have control over how many rounds you choose to fire in game and IRL

These are easily some of the best animations from a 2023 game, although a few contenders from MWII like the 2011 pistol dare compete.
