That calligraphy ink is specifically for japanese calligraphy. You have to pour in a container and dip your brush to write calligraphy

What an awesome video! Although I think all of your videos are awesome. Truthfully I say that sincerely. I'm curious now that you're on the other side of 2022 how is it that you feel about your year of exploration into different art forms? I am saving this video, I don't do that often, but this is one that will be encouraging on any day whether I'm stuck in art having a rough day and just need a keep trying vibe, or a day where I'm feeling adventure some and will try to follow how you created that beautiful picture. I never thought about using dotting tools to scrape away layers as accents. Excellent idea. I enjoy both here shorts and your longer videos. Truth be told I like the longer videos because they're deeper in content. I like to understand the process that got you from A to B , not just the summary. Blessings.

Hey, are you sure they are not oil pastels? The word Crayons tends to also be used for oil pastels which blend lovely, but don’t work with solvents. You didn’t talk about what was in them and such so I thought to ask. Just in case.

The nosel for the ink bottle is also so it makes it easier to pour inside the Ink pen bottles/ fountain pen. I use this ink for filling the fountain pens/ the old style ink pens that have like a tube bottle where you fill in the ink using the nosel from the ink bottle. :))) (if this makes sense)

You can try the calligraphy ink in lineart! It might need some more work into it, but it'd be a really good challenge.

I just have to keep mixing over and over whenever my paints get clumpy

Re: the bottle with the sideways spout: it's most likely to dispense the ink in a controlled squirt into those small cartridges that go into calligraphy pens (I was shouting, "Cartridges!" at my monitor like a mad person, lol). As a calligrapher, I have made enough ink-based messes to appreciate something like that. As an Asian, I can also tell you that's how soy-sauce bottles are designed. For messy eaters like me. LoL

Been Dubai many rimes and always go Dubai mall and never saw daiso? Daam... Should’ve gotten glasses sooner!
