Hello Everyone, it's that time of the year again. Breast Cancer Awareness Month just finished.
Other than skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women. For many women, mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat. Mammograms can find cancer before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms.
Each year in the United States, about 270,000 women get breast cancer and 42,000 women die from the disease. Researchers estimate that about 30% of early-stage breast cancers eventually metastasize. Breast cancer walk is meant to educate the public about the need for more money to go to the study of breast cancer and the development of new cancer treatments.
