I have absolutely the same results on vega64, this video card came out in 2017, I bought it in 2018 at a discount for $300, I recently bought a 7900xt for $750, before it cost $1000
2017-2024: the price has increased by 3 times and productivity has also increased by 3 times, where is the benefit? there is no point in buying new video cards

Hopefully FSR 3.0 will fix the bugs and upscaling performance. We will have to wait and see. Then, I think the 7600XT will have the longevity advantage. No one should buy the 7600 non XT it is a POS.

Reality is there is no 4050 nor 7500...
4060 is a rebadged 4050 and 7600 is a rebadged 7500.
Those are ENTRY level GPUs and cant run modern games at Ultra settings at ANY resolution witha decent framerate.
You should expect between 30 and 60 (max) FPS @ 1080p if you buy one of those 2 videocards. Period.

When the RX 7600 soon drops to £200. Will be a stonking good deal.

I picked up the Gigabyte RX 7600XT 16GB 3 fan for 289.00. The VRAM makes a difference. I turned on RT max settings and get over 120FPS at 1440 even over 200FPS in some. But then I also duel boot to Linux and AMD drivers just work better.

I f*cking hate pc gaming since they started really pushing RT on us. All it did was push prices way up even on low end hardware which does RT so slow it's useless! Despite this it seems like enough tards drank the coolaid and just paid up for that RT hype and the result is this turd of a situation we find ourselves in! There are NO good deals anymore! If you want a gpu you will be paying way too much no matter what you go for.
So the choice is get A**R*ped in a massive way or chose "Just the tip!" by buying these low end cards. No matter what you chose you will feel violated in some way.

And for those RT spergs who just love it I can tell you that this RT we get at the moment is low quality RT. It's nothing like the RT effects in Big AAA movies like Marvel and Star Wars. What we get is sh*t quality compared to those because photo real RT is damn expensive!

I feel like the biggest problem we have is lazy devs not optimizing their games I'm thinking of getting a console because this sht is pissing me off!

1440p avg fps 70 min fps of 61 and max fps 81

Folks, old GPU prices will never come back. You should use medium or high instead of always insisting on ultra.

I have a 7600, play on everything on high, 1440, no RT, plays everything at 60+ fps, I play new gamnes like Alan wake and such, some games do require FSR.

Rx7600 rtx 4060 are same. Have look how rtx4060 used RAM all the time take it for performance. Come to think of it, a big reason why this one didn't quite pick up is the performance tier had been available for ages for those interested in it. I have a 3070 mobile right in this range, lots of older gen cards available used with similar or higher capabilities. These are just not exciting after all the initial benchmarks were out, unless you are still on the edge of making the choice, completely new to the subject, or milking the cringe of 4060 failing at times due to engineering shortcuts.

If NVIDIA reduces price for RTX 4060 & RTX 4060 Ti then they will be good GPU's

I keep thinking that GPU prices need to come down, but really what needs to happen is AMD or Intel needs to make an APU platform which actually kills off the low-end.

And I don't mean "APU" I mean APU platform. System memory isn't cutting it, someone needs to push a CAMM standard for GDDR and put the connectors near the socket. People on a budget use system memory to tide themselves over, once they have more money they can buy 2x4 or 2x8gb CAMM modules to fully utilize their GPU core.

Imagine being able to buy only what you need, what a thought.

I chose a better CPU and went for the 7600. Idk if I’ll ever go back to Nvidia. I’ll ride this GPU out until the 4090 gets the same price tag 😂

never buys the 60 version if you want stable 1080p 60fps . meaning the 1060 1660 2060 3060 4060 . they are called budget value card but I called it waste of money , hopes and dreams .. look for 70 and higher instead .

Absolutely no need to play games on Ultra settings... the return you get for the price you have to pay in FPS isn't worth it..
4060 will outshine 7060 in any game that supports DLSS and especially with frame generation.

You can also use Ray Tracing with 4060 to a reasonable level.

As much as a love 7060, it's not a match for 4060 with DLSS.
For 1080p gaming at a high setting, 4060 is the right choice, especially with DLSS usage.
You can even enjoy 1440 gaming with 4060 with mix of high and medium settings, again DLSS will make it better

Both have similar performance, its head-to-head performance but 4060 less power consumption when 7600 use much power, so for long term investment 4060 will be much better even the price is higher than 7600, because 1 time high price from 4060 can compete with high power consumption from 7600 for years electricity bills (if you using 7600 for years).

4060 seems to get a lot of hate and it's justified. However, I need to upgrade from a GTX 1060 6gb, I only have a 550w PSU with a 6 and 6+2 pin connector, and a 1080p monitor. The RTX 4060 is the best new card I can get and the price has dropped to about £260 now in the UK. The AMD offerings have similar performance but use more power and and don't upscale as well.
