I really thought this movie would benefit more from a more action oriented approach. It had a lot of potential, with the setting, the characters, and the aliens themselves. I wanted to see more of the Hunters and Legislators (porcupine aliens) and what they used to take over Earth, but it’s all wasted to produce this snooze fest😑.

Man this could have been so good! But no focus on the humans, if you really need to focus on a human character instead have the tunnel parents die and then the Hunters pic up thier kid for a reason (say they have a mandate that they have to get orders from a superior officer to kill the children)

In all honesty, being turned into a cloud of pink mist instantly doesn't really seem like a bad way to go. Your brain is gone in an instant, you'd never feel a thing. Do these aliens have a twisted sense of morality? 🤔😂🤣😂

This movie also suffered from bad editing and extremely poor lighting.

What in the hell is going on?

This kind of lighting on worked for 28 weeks later to add to confusion, here it just took away from any plot being established.......

Ok so I've watched clips of this movie and this literally has to be one of the most illogical silly movies I've ever seen that is trying WAYYYYYYYYY too hard to be taken seriously.. XD

Great scene

Even though this movie is pretty slow and kinda of a drag if I were to say, I still appreciate how much it portrays reality, if this were to every happen. A huge possiblity could be this scenario in which aliens legislate.

Please:
No more Alien Invasion movies were you don't even get a decent look at the freaking alien. Dear directors: stop filming every freaking thing in the dark.

Criminally underrated movie all the time , that was his nephew. Imagine shooting your nephew because he believes he has to die but u cant tell him.

Man this film really makes you feel the crushing weight of being under foreign occupation.

This is XCOM the movie.

I get the idea that the hunters are another race of being within the galaxy that have also been subjected to being taken over by the ‘legislators’ at some point in the past and now they are basically a slave army of ‘the legislators’ that get to action when called upon to act in service of them. So basically they are oppressed as well. Looks like the loyalty of the hunters is top notch so ‘the legislators’ must have conquered them ions ago and groomed and perfected them to fir the role needed to serve also notice how before this, our own delegation gets warned by ‘the legislators’ that they will be sending in the hunters from off planet to investigate and retaliate the unity rally bombing.

The reality is that Americans have millions of guns for just this purpose.

Not gonna lie the aliens designs were so cool. But the low budget effected it.😊
