great idea
ОтветитьYou should sell these! I would definitely purchase one for all the hunters in my family. Even if you just sold the base, the winch could be purchased and mounted later.
ОтветитьSince you are already carrying the boat winch, a good battery powered 3/8 power drill with winch shaft adapter would make the lift faster, easier.
ОтветитьI will buy a base from you if you make one for me?
ОтветитьGreat idea! Visit us for deals on winches!
ОтветитьThis is great. I've been trying to figure out how to solve this problem for the last few years. I've seemed to have picked up two hell hole spots that produce well. But the older I get the longer it seems to get the critters out of them.
ОтветитьThx
Ответитьi use a boat winch in the same way be4 to do that. They work great. I didn't have the heavy arm u made tho, but still worked good.
ОтветитьAfter watching this video last year, i made one from wood. I used it last year behind my house which is a couple hundred feet straight drop. it worked great! thank you for making an impossible location possible!
ОтветитьYou should patent this device. Surely one of the big guys i.e. Muddy, hunter spec, etc would by the rights and you would recoup your money plus some. Great job on a simple, functional idea!
Ответитьgood idea but it is a bit bulky to carry hunting
ОтветитьBeen there. Wish I would have had this. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьSimply genius!! After a painfully long drag last week I will be making one of these for next year. Even with a Jet Sled its tough to drag up the steep hills solo.
Thanks for the vid!
I weld bad so -but hunt good-I'd buy that from you
ОтветитьPhil, I see you mentioned that you haul a deer cart with you, have you ever thought about changing from a hand crank only to adding an attachment point for a drill?
Ответитьvery nice idea but wait are you or I going to shlep this thing around ? all together nicely portrayed
conceived idea I still like it
but again who will Carrie it going to Be bit on a long hike with a heavier dear in tow
just saying
Francis's
ОтветитьI don't know if other commentors said this yet but this would also work with a slight mod to winch your deer up a ramp into your truck. Which I plan to do. At 63 it's starting to get harder to just grab the deers legs and lift them onto the truck bed.
Ответитьvery clever
Ответитьa magnificent craftsman !
ОтветитьSo awesome. This is going to come in handy this year. I am going to have my local weld shop make one for me. Can you please tell me what diameter rope you are using and about how many feet were you able to place on your winch.
ОтветитьYou can easy rig up a cordless drill to help winder in the winch
Handy having the winch, works good
Something very useful to make with my everlast welder and some of the scrap metal I've around.
ОтветитьThat is fantastic.....I would buy one if you'd be willing to sell.
ОтветитьSuper Idee ...
Ответитьbuy an atv
ОтветитьOn average, what was your feet per minute for retrieval?
Ответитьquero ler em portugues
ОтветитьWow thanks for thinking of this and showing your plans on building it! Subscribed!
ОтветитьWhat thickness is the flat Iron and the channel iron that you use?
ОтветитьHi from Japan. Thanks for this idea. Think I'll use it to pull my canoe up from the shoreline to the car. (Amazing how much weight my canoe has gained once I passed 65!) Cheers!
ОтветитьHow long is the cable that you put on? Install a longer cable will downgrade the capacity of the winch?
ОтветитьPhil, do you have the plans for this available? Really want to build one.
ОтветитьWhat a shame! Don't kill deers!!!!!
ОтветитьI really like this idea but I am just curious how long is the rope is? The valleys I hunt are about 300 feet in elevation and very steep.
