Whopper shad is good, but the best catfish bait is salt pork or fatback, dunked in orange cool aid and left out the night before your fishing trip. The smell becomes next level, and I catch nothing but catfish or carp on that. Nothing else is brave enough to go after a stinky neon orange hunk of fat 😂

If you and your crew are ever interested in a road trip and fishing on hard water let me know. Much smaller gear but most of the same species plus others like Northern Pike. Just need to wait until winter.

Those trout were dinks. Me and my friend caught a 3 lb 27 inch rainbow trout in a fishing derby. Our average size at the pond we caught that at is around 18 inches

I fish in a stocked pond with Georgia giant bluegill and they are 14-16 inches so tasty and fun to catch

Next time you're down here fishing the Wolf Creek Trout stream, you can catch some dinosaurs (sturgin) in the river there. Also there are some nice walleye there
