20+ lbs lighter than the Skidoo with more power and better handling. No wonder it’s $20 grand.
ОтветитьThanks Snowtrax, you guys have a great channel, appreciate the engagement with your audience too. I was hoping you could help me out, I've been waiting to snowcheck a VR1, but am considering a leftover Launch edition XC. I ride in Southern Adirondacks, in upstate NY, mostly trails. Will I notice much of a difference between the two models? Planning on keeping it long term, 850 137" and likely the 150 storm. Thanks in advance!
Ответить15grand is pushing it for a sled. 20gs... Forget it.
ОтветитьHow does a boost one up skidoo? Skidoo had turbo 2 yrs ago.
ОтветитьStar fire! Love how Polaris brings back not only names but decals like the TXL. Now bring back the Colt!
ОтветитьThe Voyager 650 look sick. I also like that they keep the 550. When it comes available they should do a review on the 650 voyager.
ОтветитьCan't buy Polaris CC racer, can buy Skid-Doo Competition Package, seems like made the decision for me unless want to stick with my SnoPro600 which is well dialed in.
ОтветитьOnly reason I know I don’t have to check myself for a pulse is because I won’t be able to buy a new sled
ОтветитьI was looking forward to something HUGE in the trail line up but nothing other then you can get all the models in the Matryix
ОтветитьHallow jack shaft??? Did I hear that right???
ОтветитьI have a pulse...and after this video ..it going fast...lol..
ОтветитьI’m not excited lol I’ve been waiting for Polaris to get in the high horsepower 4stroke game. No dice again
ОтветитьWe're you able to test the new cross countryside sled? Just curious for the racing scene next season
ОтветитьI wish there was a 4 stroke option in the titan model!
Ответить @Luke Lester less than a month ago you used input from "industry experts" to establish a weight corrected HP for the E-tec turbo of 155HP compared to 168 for the Patriot (at sea level). You went on to say that the Skl-Doo turbo doesn't overcome the deficit until 5K (i originally stated 7K) feet and that most mountain snowmobiles are operated at altitudes under 7K feet (I really struggle with this statistic). Now you are reporting the BOOST has 50% more power than the Patriot at 10K feet. Using your estimate of 185HP for the BOOST would imply 92.5HP for the Patriot. I'm not an "industry expert" but that implies the Patriot loses 4.5% of its HP for every 1000 feet. Meaning that at altitudes above 1722 feet it produces less than the 155HP produced by the E-tec turbo. Congrats to Polaris on an awesome 2022 lineup. I've owned more Polaris than Ski-Doo in my life and my 2020 decision was really tough...this one will be even tougher. I like the SnowTrax content but your unbiased bias is getting old (own it).
ОтветитьSweet! Been waiting for this video and a Matryx XCR! Can’t wait for more details come on Luke...?
ОтветитьNow the big question is what's the weight of the rmk with the new matryx chassi and how much heavier is the turbo?
ОтветитьWhat about skidoo’s smart shox
ОтветитьSo what’s that sled your riding? It’s a Polaris, matrix, switchback, assault starfire, super cala fragilistic expialidocious series!
ОтветитьCan I get one for free nah for 15,000
ОтветитьCan’t be the only one wondering why there was never a video made about skidoo’s 2022. Beings they came out 3 weeks ago.
ОтветитьMy question is this.. I wanted an answer from skidoo last year. When are they going to make our flatlander sleds turbo boost. That’s what I want. I would maybe jump ship the Polaris if they gave me turbo for the flat land. Shouldn’t have to buy a mountain sled just to get turbo
ОтветитьMach Z review coming soon?
ОтветитьWhy no SKS? Why discontinue one of the best machines made is beyond me.
ОтветитьXCR looks sweet!
ОтветитьWaiting for the sidewinder power steering video
ОтветитьIsn't this what we talked about last week with the Yamaha lineup. Way too many models and why? I do t see the need foe all these super duper front end shocks on mountain model. Their skis are in thw air all the time. Please I dont ride backcountry but do fill us in.
ОтветитьMy head hurts how many different options / models. 🤯
Ответитьunreal... 180ish horses at sea level. I wonder what the total weight will be for the rmk boost
ОтветитьHard to say we're getting exactly what we want when the graphs of average yearly temperatures and average new snowmobile MSRPs are both trending North. This year I saw more ATVs and UTVs in southern VT than sleds even with all the snow we got. The more niche snowmobiling becomes the less reason there is for trails to be maintained or new riders to jump onboard. Have fun with making payments on your 20k boosted sleds as the years roll by and the snow cover gets more and more variable...
ОтветитьI was impressed to see the Turbo Patriot engine but I feel sad that it didn't came on other Matryx sleds this year, especially the SBA for me. I'll have to wait a least another year before snowchecking one, this means driving it about nearly two years from now only if they are releasing it.
ОтветитьAll for a 6 week (if lucky) riding season south of duluth wahooooooo NOT
ОтветитьBiggest thing for me is the 146 rmk
ОтветитьI don't know why but they look ugly to me. Anyone else with me?
ОтветитьOnly thing that gets me is the warranty. Seem like they lost some trust going from a standard 4 year to a two. On top of serious price hikes. Crazy line up for 2022 for sure. Im sure next year they will be putting those boost motors in trail sleds.
ОтветитьI love Snow Trax but I am getting a bit tired of the pandering. “They listen to their clients and give them what they want..” they could have cut the tunnel years ago. I don’t get why Polaris seems to lag in the things that their athletes mod every year and Ski Doo beats them to it. I know you say your reviews are unbiased but it just seems like you don’t want to say anything negative about Polaris. You can tell the truth and still love the sled.
I keep hearing that it’s not just altitude compensating.. but it is. If they say it maintains horsepower through 10k then it’s just maintaining that hp. Same as Ski Doo, they just gave it some boost at sea level. Its the same as the big 3 truck companies trying to beat the competitions hp by 10hp every year. They just unlock the mapping a bit and say everything is so much better.
Now us Titan owners just need alittle update and everything will be great!! Perhaps an 850!
ОтветитьI won't doubt Polaris' mountain sled line up being the debatable class leader, the amount of models is ridiculous and not in a good way! When it's time to snow check, pick a chassis, a power plant, track length, suspension/shock package, etc etc. Have it on an online configure platform hit send/email to the dealer and it's on its way.
ОтветитьFINALLY I'VE BEEN WANTING A TURBO FROM POLARIS FOR SO LONG
ОтветитьThose headlights tho🤮
ОтветитьWhat ever you people at snowtrax are drinking, you need to get to rehab quick,, REALLY Polaris can't build a basic two stroke engine that will hang together now lets put a turbo on one, good God So exciting Just what everyone wants,,,,, NO People do want another problem for twenty grand,,, OH let me guess,,, Polaris wins everything for 2021 THE most unreliable sleds on the market period And A Fact
ОтветитьYou nailed it Luke. THEY LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. That's huge...
ОтветитьI have been a loyal polaris customer for years, but there engine reliability has been dismal. Their 800 sreies ofengines has been an absolute disaster. I hope the new 850 is mot0re reliable like the old 500 fuji
ОтветитьSir I want to talk to you
ОтветитьSir I'm from Kashmir I want to talk to you
ОтветитьMy '83 Polaris Star 250 will out perform any of these sleds or any other sled in the universe. Just try me and you'll learn the wrath of the single dingle star polaris snowmobile of the universe! 😆😅
ОтветитьI went see a Indy adventure 2022 review. I love the reviews
ОтветитьAll good news...but I'm 78 yrs....still riding my 93 polaris trail...bought in 94 ..4900 miles .reverse ,electric start,hand & seat warmer,extended track.also came with A/C,what more could I ask for ...lol
Ответитьyou think they’d send one to me all black like a new but damaged one
ОтветитьWaited all night for this!!! They sure exceeded expectations for the 2022 model year considering the pandemic and such.... Very impressive lineup!!! Thanks ST!!!
