Ok. This is good. Bc Ive been wondering out here how to determine where she is.....
Our daughter is 5 yr and she can do 3 digit math, she can count to 300, she uses manipulatives, dots, even tally marks..... She can recognize/read what numbers are... We've started introducing light multiplication as fun but only when it makes sense..... And she can count by 2's+5's+10's+100's.
*She definitely knows the differences of less n more.
*Check she love's patterns too. A.B.C... I didn't know that's what it was called..but we've been in the books mostly from Amazon or the homeschool Fair....
*We've also been mastering more time... By the hour, minutes, half past, quarter til.... I love workbooks.
* She also knows tons of shapes and money too. But I love your idea to use the real money instead of fake money. The coins we use look like real coins but not the bills 😆

I also made a binder like that. ❤ I want to make one for every grade.
In the start of the school year I go over all the concepts. Then make a one page summary or find it online and put it in the binder.
It comes in handy so much.

Hi Jady! You said that after your kindergartener finishes MathUSee Primer you move onto Saxon Math for the upper grades. What made you choose to use MathUSee over Saxon for kindergarten?

Standards-
1- Count to 100
Chart 1-10, 1-20, 1-30
2- Number recognition
Number flash cards
3- Know numbers 1-20 out of order
Chart with random numbers 0-10, 0-20
4- Skip counting- 2s, 5s, 10s
Chart with skip counting 2, 4, 6, 8, 10- sign in row row your boat tune
5- Count forward or backwards from any number
Using 1-100 chart ask which number come after 35 or what comes before 15-tell me a few numbers
6- Learning number quantity
* Give children a number and let them place the correct quantity of objects next to it.
* Learn counting, give a set number of unfix/objects and have them count
* Count up to 20 objects in kindergarten
7- Learning which quantity is less or more
* give them 2 numbers and have them place unifix/objects next to the correct numbers and then ask which is larger or smaller
8- Knowing which numbers are smaller/bigger
* Use a ruler so this is done only using numbers- explaining this end is the lower numbers 0 and this end is this higher numbers 30
9- Addition and Subtraction within 10
* Using an abacus for addition problems
* Unifix cubes to add and subtract using different manipulatives
10- Add within 5 abstract (in the mind)
* 1+1=2, 2+3=5
* Challenging with double digits- 3+3=6, 4+4=8, etc
11- Patterns- 3 different types
* AB- 🔴🟠🔴🟠🔴
* AABB- 🟢🟢🔵🔵🟢🟢🔵🔵
* ABC- ⚫️⚪️🟤⚫️⚪️🟤⚫️⚪️🟤
12- Using geometric shapes to build new shapes
* Using print outs, child uses shapes to create a new shape eg- eagle, dog
13- Learn basic 2D shapes and 3D shapes
* Flash cards/print outs
14- Telling time by the hour- moving onto half hour
* Mini dry erase clocks, write time and child with move hands to the hour and minute
* Adult sets time and child writes time down
15- Learn coin value
* Learn and recognise coins
* Learn quantity of coins
* Sorting coins into categories 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2
