Thank you so much to you two wonderful people for doing this for all of us.
This was a very good watch. I am not interested in wedding photography at this moment but I feel I can use these inputs in other aspects of photography and as well as life. Two important aspects I liked in talk were relationship with people and accepting social media learning is not really learning. It was great thank you again, love to see more again..

IT company and window... Photography.. Confused..
Thanks you guys for the great insights :)
Thanks Amar & Joshua for taking out time and sharing your thoughts. Great insight in how to manage work-business-art together. Looking forward to more such videos :)
ОтветитьGreat initiative, I started my business a year ago and I have just done two weddings films, I am not from IT but a Film background, even harder since there is usually zero discipline. I am 33 and not 23, I was highly skeptical to get into the field, I still am and I think its good to look at thing in a skeptical way to fool proof. First wedding in March and second one in August, I had to wait 6 months to do 2nd and now 4 months for 3rd. I think what someone needs as a basic quality is "Patience" which almost no one has in todays world, from getting a signature to waiting in traffic signals. What has kept me going is the feedback I get from my clients and the satisfaction I get from my work. I believe you can only do something in a long run once you realise that you really love what you do and I don't think it's as easy as it sounds. Talent is just a commodity, you can learn it or be natural at it, but the truth is people are the return of investments in life. People are who will put you through difficult places, they are the ones who will standby you, a friend recommendation is better than a instagram profile for me, being personal is important. Being nice, kind and having genuine friendship is the hardest and most underrated aspect of business and life. I would like to quote someone I really love for inspiration "Nothing great should be easy" - Gary Vaynerchuk, and you guys have just been doing that, and to share those things is something. Thank you.
ОтветитьRemember! one day I'll come back and tell you this is the video that changed my life!
you'll be proud of me.
Keep Killing!
Thanks a ton Amar and Joshua for taking time to explain us the insights of the wedding photography business and also the ideology of a person who is currently in one career intended to shift to the art of photography especially wedding photography (mostly the business area). Whatever Joshua said is true, now a days, people who have a camera phone in hand and uses a couple of filters think themselves as photographers and name them as professional photographers and then starts clicking in their friends parties or wedding..!! etc., etc., I dont think that is photography.
I am seeing a subject which made my eyes feast and wide opened, my mind relaxed and my mouth rounded saying wowww.. If I take a photograph in the same way as I feel, and allowed viewers to get the same feel when they see the picture that I photographed, then I can call myself eligible to be a photographer.
I love each and every word and detailing in your explanation. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. We would love to see Joseph Radhik in next session pleaseeee.
Thanks nice video... Keep posting more..
ОтветитьWhat a video.. !! Its just like u r explaining my situation..!! Cheers..!! Helped me a lot..!!
ОтветитьThanks Amar and Joshua. This video, for me turned out to be a "don't just dream" call, before i venture into Photography. I was blindly sticking to my self that I have to buy a Sony Alpha iii, I have to save money at any cost. But after i finished watching this video, i realized that i have to first question myself will i be productive enough after purchasing a $5000 worth Camera+Kit? Also, will i be profitable to myself investing huge amount just to post an image on Instagram which actually alters the resolution of the image and displays which obviously can be done on my smartphone. I have now realized that i have to TEST MY CAPABILITIES & PUSH MYSELF TO THE EDGE to be worthy enough for an investment for my future and also utilize my existing resources and prove myself that its not the weapon that is making you a photographer, it is how you are utilizing your weapon and relentlessly putting effort, trying to portray your visualization that turns out to be a masterpiece. Thanks again and expecting more of these amazing and thought provoking videos.
