George Mason University is a public research university having a beautiful green campus in Fairfax, Virginia. University is named after the founding father George Mason, a Virginia planter and politician and established in 1972.

Here, the student-faculty ratio is 17:1; 58 percent of undergraduate classes have fewer than 30 students and 30 percent of graduate classes have fewer than 20 students.
