In the 70,s it was scented Geraniums that got me started.
ОтветитьI watch from Poland, I like my country although many people here hate it 🙈 I love Frydek so much so this video is 10/10 for me 😍
ОтветитьOmg I did not know you were an actress!!!! That’s all I wanted to do growing up and into my early 20’s and it just didn’t happen due to lack of knowledge and direction. Then I became a mom and am almost graduating nursing school. I just recently decided I would never give up my dream! ❤
ОтветитьHi Clare! I love your plant chat videos. You are very lovely and nautral person. Keep it up! ❤
ОтветитьDo you use straight pon on any of your alocasias?
ОтветитьI would never buy a zzplant but I come to adopte one of the greencontainer of the place I work just two days ago.
ОтветитьHello from South Africa 🇿🇦 🎉
ОтветитьAnd along came a spider and sat down beside her. 😂
ОтветитьHi did this mix work for your frydek in the long run? I need to repot mine for the first time and I’m terrified! 😂 I see a lot of people use pon for alocasias too. Help! Lol
ОтветитьI will take one!!!!
Ответитьholy moly I want a frydek so baddddd!!! Beautiful job growing it wow
ОтветитьThe cat… 🤭💜
ОтветитьIn Colorado! :)
ОтветитьHow I enjoy your vedios!!! Glad that I subscribed🤗
ОтветитьMaybe I missed it, but how old is that plant? It has so many leaves!
ОтветитьI am watching from Belgium and i love your videos thank you
ОтветитьMy goodness that looks beautiful 😍
ОтветитьI absolutely loved this video! I’m so glad I recently discovered your channel and I just love it - so natural, witty, and down to earth💚💚💚 (and you also have a furry baby). I had to laugh when you got up to escape from the fly - I don’t do well with insects🥶.
I was born and lived in rural Alaska and moved to WA state 15 years ago. I love the milder/shorter winter months here in WA, but would love to love where it’s sunny and warm🌞.
Hello from British Columbia Canada. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel.... a wee bit obsessed actually. 🙃. Really started getting into plants recently and it is SO SO therapeutic. It is an absolutely fantastic thing to get into if you do have any sort of mental health issues. Gives you such a purpose and I love having something to take care of......since my children are pretty much grown and self sufficient. 😞
By the way...... I also am very disgusted by dry hands, not just my own, but other peoples too....EW. 🤮lol
Great relaxed video. Learning by watching you split and repot and loving the chat. Recently had a choice between a Frydek and an Anthurium Clarinervium. The Clarinervium won but the Frydek could well be my next plant, it’s stunning! Thanks again for a fun hour.
ОтветитьClaire, the description you provided as plant people, you are describing yourself. You provide so much inspiration and support without even knowing. You are a gem, never question your ability to inspire others. I LOVE that you put on your pjs and started filming. Keep being you!!!

This Channel
Is EPIC 😭❤ I love it thank you
Your alocasia friedeck is gorgeous.
ОтветитьI’m only a few months (5 or 6 I think) into my plant parenting journey which I started during my PTSD recovery. Having something positive and natural to focus my time on has been so helpful and I love all my plant babies (except maybe my Calathea Leopardinia which is a bit of a diva 😂).
Love your chatty videos, I put them on at night when I’m feeling lonely and it feels like I’m with a friend. Thank you for what you’re doing, it means a lot x
Wonderful video, as always, Claire. When repotting, do you re-use the 'old' soil that you tease out of the roots? Or would you recommend placing it in the household compost instead? Your plants look so healthy and beautiful! PS I live in Australia 🤗
ОтветитьWhen I first got my Frydek, it threw a tantrum and died back. Will that happen with disturbing the roots, separating them?
ОтветитьReally enjoy your videos. My favorite plants have long been formerly Sanseverias. Really don't ever see keeping the really large leafed plants like Monsteras. I too would like to live in New Zealand. I have never been there but from what I see and here they seem to be more peaceful. Calmer and less violent. Everything that right now in the USA we are not. I hope your new place is everything your hoping for, have a great trip and a great move when you return.
ОтветитьHappy to know I'm not the only one who pours a nice glass of wine to set the mood when I'm planning to start playing in the dirt with my plants!
ОтветитьA plant I probably wouldn't get again is marantas/calatheas as they are too finicky and dramatic for me lol(at least in my conditions). I do grow orchids though and love them 😊
ОтветитьI’m a psychic medium and plant’s really help me calm my mind and switch off. It’s like my therapy and I would absolutely love to have as many plants as you one day xx
ОтветитьI gasped with you when the baby snapped off 😆
ОтветитьSaw you untangling the roots and wonder if you ever have cutting them? I saw a plant care Video (swedish plant guy) where they cut the bottom third of the roots before they repot plants. Would you try these method?
ОтветитьI would love to see a wish list plant video 🪴💜
ОтветитьI loved this video. Frydeks are one of my favourite plants, and I have YET to get my hands on one. Slightly jealous that youv've got quite a few baby ones now! :P
I'm a brit that had always loved sweden. Two years ago, during Covid, I said heck it why not! Packed 2 suitcases and moved to Sweden. It's probably the best decision I have ever made! I did, however, have to re-start my plant collection.. but that is okay!
I'm in the US in Tennessee...love your videos
ОтветитьI'm in lima ohio
ОтветитьI love that you poured some wine whilst getting stuck in. It’s such a relaxing pastime. I have been building up my plant collection gradually and your videos are such an inspiration for plants to add to my wish list. I keep seeing that huge crinkle leaf plant to the left behind you in this video. What is the name of that plant? I love the texture on the leaves. I haven’t go much space so have been looking into investing in a mini green house. As want a few more tropical plants. I love your videos❤️
ОтветитьNew to your channel and that frydek is so beautiful and also try Ashley Anita she is so wonderful and plant me Ashley. Thank you 😊
ОтветитьGoing away? Worried about your mum watering all your plants? Why not gives her more plants to water? 🤣 Love the chat videos.
ОтветитьAustralia here and love our weather and lifestyle
ОтветитьI live in Florida over in the US. it’s the perfect state for all the tropical plants you are growing! Very hot in the summer and humid. Thank you for sharing your story Claire
ОтветитьYou mentioned in one of your previous videos “HOUSE OF KOJO” stupidly I went to the website and place an order Alocasia zebrina, normally I do research, review before any purchase & specially with plants.but heard you mention company & this is the worst plant I’ve ever purchased online just appalled by the level of neglect of the plant & audacity to send that out to customer. beggars belief...plant was half dead & that being polite...my mistake not following my strict procedure when ordering online,as previously mentioned just been watching your video & heard you mentioned them.won’t be making that foolish mistake again.wanted to send back they want me to pay for return & send pictures of plant, box, labels & won’t give a refund if there’s damage is to stems.but maybe leaves..this is ridiculous...BEWARE OF HOUSE OF KOJO
ОтветитьOmg the Frydek is Gorgeous, tbh I'd seen them before but watching your videos have given me a new love for these plants and now I need to go out and hunt for a lil baby frydek with pillowey leaves
ОтветитьI used to live in the Netherlands, but didn't like it. I always said I would move to England (got family there) or Australia. But I ended up packing my bags at 18 and moving to Canada. Lived here for a good 21 years now and I've never looked back!
ОтветитьSeattle Washington and I adore watching you and I have a zillion plants as well!! ❤️❤️
ОтветитьOh my goodness Frydek is my #1 plant on my plant list!! They are so beautiful!!! I need one so badly!! Lol yours is so beautiful!! Thank you for the video!! I'd love to know all your plants inspo people!!
ОтветитьI hear ya about sharing plants. Love to give them away and make others happy but after my care for so long I worry am I doing the right thing will they care and love them the way I do. Lol. Doesn’t matter they will learn just like I did. Love Sydney Plant Guy. 💚🇨🇦
ОтветитьWould love to see a wishlist plant video!! ❤️
