TOURong Kalikasan id Sagada July 2022 | Day 1 Highlights

Day 1 of TOURong Kalikasan id Sagada was filled with opportunities to learn, share, and connect. 🤩

We learned about how sustainability is at the heart of indigenous peoples’ culture and why we should protect their culture and their natural environment.

Students enjoyed attending and participating in several learning stations that included storytelling, art activities, song interpretation, as well as music and dance.

Teachers learned first-hand how innovative teaching could be implemented in preschool, grade school, and high school.

Tour guides were introduced to the concept of sustainable tourism by Prof. JP Rivera.

Through our different workshops and activities, everyone had an opportunity to participate in meaningful interactions about leadership, culture, community building, and sustainability. 🌱🌏💕☺️
