Imagine you are suddenly stranded in the wilderness. If.....you survive you would be grateful for everything you have and become humble. At least then you will not be a work slave for some person who created your job through their own ambitions and are often those viewed as greedy by others because they are wealthy. Just because a job is not what you thought it would be, doesn't mean you should ever forget that you sold yourself as AN ASSET in order to get the job. More importantly why you did it and that you were glad you where hired. Working only to get what you want is a bad place to start because it's selfish on its face. And your odds of getting what you want are stacked against you. The point is, yes the bigger the planet gets the more insignificant we can feel. But always remember that the guy in the ivory tower that you consider your slave master, has always had his own slave masters. If neither you nor the guy in the tower consider the other's pain, that is not evidence the system is broken, rather it is evidence that people are. Neither has the right to judge the other. But I guarantee you, after 65 years of watching the world, that the one who willfully serves others is the happiest.

I went through another plant shut down around 2009. Im skilled labor at craftsman level. Ive always worked. Back then they paid $500.00 per week unemployment for 99 weeks. I took all of it. It was the first time i chould take time off. I loved it. Then back to work and retired at 55. Work sucks. Get out early. After 39 years i was done. I never looked back. Have fun.

Joe Rogan is a good role model. He proves that you don’t have to have any particular intelligence or be good at anything to do well in social media. As for Kumbaya, it is a fantastic holy song. Don’t ridicule it, pls.

Well my friend, YOU explained it brilliantly. Thank you...i shall share this far and wide!
PS: Now, creating "wealth", through digital &/or otherwise has always been my Achilles' heel. My LINKTREE on my channel will display much of "what I've done/doing". Now, I'm not thinking that my stuff is "awesome", but i am proud of what I've created. I just can't make connections for the life of me. And it literally is these days. Like the title states, but even so...Grrr! Well, just thought I'd throw that out into the Universe. Maybe a nice "Buddha like" mentor will take pity on this "older creator" and assist. Hope this message finds you clear, coherent, mindful and with peaceful thoughts filling up your brilliant lives. Peace! ✌ PS: Not a fan of Joe Rogan these days. Talk about "money" buying someone. I don't care how much influence you have, if you go douche-bag, surround yourself with douche-bag types (aka) Elon, etc., have a dictator-wannabe on your platform and give hate a voice? Sorry, he lost me at the surround, but now... I'm done with Joe. When you go from Bernie Sanders to this right now...it's just sad.

I’m out, I am lucky that my assets are very high value and I have no debt. I was going to Airbnb my large house to offset the costs associated with it but I am going to sell it and build something much smaller with the ability to be closed down and left for months at a time. I don’t have the desire to make more money. I see being where I am at as a gift that I shouldn’t squander.

Worked 20 years in the restaurant/baker industry. And grateful for the time there. Many skilles learned, but my soul wants something else now. The time is slow, but slowly moving toward my goals as I want to help others to a healthier lifestyle. I truly believe in doing something that does not makes you feel like a slave of life. That includes, as you point out, not working the regular 9-17 ratrace.

A pyramid scheme….. isn’t that the truth. I think the hardest part for me, even more than the excruciating physical pain I endure during my toil, is lying, smiling over and over again, forced to tell client after client that I am great, happy, love my job. I’m a massage therapist and honestly does anyone enjoy rubbing random people for hours to the point of hearing their own bones crunch and crack in two and yet still keep grinding their own bones into powder for the pimp employer to take 3/4ths of the money and then to be taxed 22% of the 1/4 they allowed to “keep “ I am worse off than a slave because even a slave has guaranteed housing and food…. Don’t even have that. I truly believe the industrial revolution was from Satan

(well actually)....

The problem IS capitalism. If you keep pulling those threads, there's no other conclusion.

Our currencies are lent into existence at interest that can never be paid back. This means that our GDP had to double every 23 years for our currencies to have any value. This means capitalist societies have to seek out and exploit any external resource (ie: one that other cultures pay for) until collapse, and when those run out it has to turn inwards and eat its own people.

This is what is happening to us right now.

"Passive income" is bullshit - that is lost and lonely individuals trying to become part of the rentier economy. The parasite economy, that feeds on the rest of us. Fuck that.

The most pernicious trick capitalism managed to pull was to get so many of us to believe that our salvation (from the suffering and misery caused by capitalism) depends on individuals rather than collectives. It's not about you or me, it is about us... so yea, politics does matter.

I think the problem is people not stopping to think what they want in life, just follow trending and what other people do. Also there is the problem of government that do not allow you to reach your goals, in Sweden I have to pay 50% or more of my salary and then 25% on top of everything that I buy.
To me the solution is to let people alone and they will decide. If people want to go after money... that is fine, if want to go after peace of mind, do it. But do not impose how much money is enough or pensions that other people has to pay. Live free, but please take into consideration what happens if you fail, having a good family, sons, etc is a good start.... oh wait... Sweden has promoted the opposite to that for decades. Now you are trapped in a welfare system that force you to work forever for the greater good.

I worked for 24 years and got made redundant during COVID. The sense of freedom I felt during that time is what I have been working towards for the past 4 years and I am getting there slowly.
I became an alcoholic, but am now 3 months totally sober.
I am planning on building a small home for myself in a field without applying for planning permission. I have to go for it, I can't see another way for me to be able to live a relatively 'normal' life.
I cannot afford rent or a mortgage and I will not be paying anymore expensive energy bills either.

thanks for this inspiring video and the insane quality behind it. Instant sub;
I'm 21, and in my second year of being a trainee salesman for Telekom in Germany. The working shedule is making me mentally sick and im really fed up with it, its exhausting. My goal is to espcape the rat race (as Robert Kyosaki describes it) and start my own barkeeping company, since im sidehustling for 3 years as bartender and im not getting tired of it. It feels like my destiny.
Either way, thanks for the motivation, it's time to escape the Matrix!

My chains have gotten heavier. My job is so stressful and there are so many uncertain sketchy situations and poorly planned dangerous as hell travel. It’s caused a severe mental disability. I have anxiety so bad I was prescribed meds. Hence my boat gets filled with more water. I have been looking for something better but everything out there left is so poorly paid up here or requires huge amounts of travel. I make enough to keep my kids and wife comfortable and pay the bills but I honestly feel like I’m sacrificing everything I am. I feel like soap in the shower, slowly being worn away till is nothing.
