1981 Jets vs Habs, Guy Lafleur’s 1,000th point

March 4, 1981 - After Guy Lafleur reaches the 1,000-point milestone, future NHLer Mario Lemieux joins the Forum crowd in giving him a standing ovation. Lemieux can be seen for a brief second standing directly behind Lafleur.

His 1,000th point was a goal scored against Michel Dion, assisted by Keith Acton & Larry Robinson.

The Winnipeg Jets scored three 3rd period goals vs. Richard Sevigny, but the Canadiens won 9-3.
