ОтветитьI can tell how passionate you are about cooking. As a Puerto Rican chef it makes me really happy seeing your share our amazing dishes.
ОтветитьI'm learning how to cook PR food through here because I was never taught how lol. I still come back here years later. I didn't start officially cooking PR food not till I was 25, and my kid loves it lol
ОтветитьHey I have a question when you checked the rice after you covered it did you turn off the stove and leave for another 10mins or did you leave it on at 2or3 for another 10mins. Thank you
ОтветитьGracias x la receta, primera vez que hago pollo guisado
ОтветитьOh my Lord I have been watching your videos they are so good and delicious thank you so much .
ОтветитьI have been watching your videos for years! You cook just like my abuelo..My mom cooks like him as well..You both have taught me so much..Coming from someone who didn’t know anything about cooking 😂 Thank you so much! I haven’t commented because I didn’t want to be judged now,I’m like who cares! Lol Thank you so much Ida ♥️♥️ Fellow Boricua here 🎉🇵🇷🇵🇷
ОтветитьCan I make this in the crock pot?
ОтветитьHi, new subsciption. How long did you have to cook the chicken for?
ОтветитьYes ma'am please 🙏!!!!!
ОтветитьI have meet beautiful females just talking about suflito!!!!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьWhy does your video not cover full screen.
ОтветитьThis recipe is awesome! I’ve been looking for a traditional Pollo Guisado recipe for awhile now since all the ones I find online are updated recipes that include chicken broth or corn starch which are ingredients I know my mom didn’t add to it. No offense to people who use those ingredients but your recipe is the closest I’ve ever found to how my mom prepared this dish. Anyhow, thank you so much! I plan on adding your recipe to my arsenal of Puerto Rican cookery. ❤🇵🇷🥰
ОтветитьI still use this recipe to this day! Thanks a bunch!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьGenius cooking here. They eat good in that house
ОтветитьJust tried this and y’all….. it was AMAZING! Followed her video step by step!!! Thank you ❤️
ОтветитьI have referred to this video so many times...still my favorite
ОтветитьI tried the browning with sugar before and the chicken had a weird sweet taste to it, ima try it without it
ОтветитьAmiga ayúdame.
ОтветитьLove this recipe love your food ❤
ОтветитьI made the beef stew last week and it was delicious. Today, I’m doing Chicken stew.
Ответитьi still use your videos to cook everyday dinners at my house for my kids !!!
ОтветитьYou’re the best. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhy do we not coat the chicken with flour like we do the beef for carne guisada? Also, do u have a cookbook I can purchase?
ОтветитьEste pollito es mi cena de hoy
ОтветитьAwesome!!! Thanks for sharing 👍
ОтветитьThe first time I tried this meal was in a domestic violence shelter and the cook was on vacation so The Advocates had cooked and one of the Advocates was an older Puerto Rican woman who made this and I've been looking for this this ever since. I never knew what it was called I just knew that it was delicious. Now that I finally have the recipe I've made it several times and my family loves it! And I'm not Hispanic I'm actually African-American LOL
ОтветитьI have to try this, it looks really good!
ОтветитьLove your recepies. I live alone and they transition me to the time my folks were at family gatherings. Bless your heart, for your dedication!!❤❤❤
ОтветитьHi, I made this chicken and it was amazing. My family loved it. Thank you so much.Weeeepaaaaaa🇵🇷❤️

ОтветитьLady your tone of voice is in my subconscious because of how many times I've replayed it to get it exactly 😅 it was the bomb!
ОтветитьI always come back to you when I need to cook :)
ОтветитьGigantic pieces of mea. So much Sofrito 😢
ОтветитьI live in Tokyo and I have been using your recipe for years, with friends and family brining me bottled sofrito and sazon, but today while trying to make some at my girlfriend’s house, I found some mold in my bottle of sofrito that I left in her fridge. Luckily, there are quite a few Asian supermarkets in the area with most of the materials from your homemade sofrito video and I was able to make my own. Thank you so much for your cooking videos. Me, my girlfriend, and her Japanese/pakistani family all love my Pollo Guisado all thanks to you.
ОтветитьI made this last night and it was a massive hit in my house! This is the 2nd recipe of yours that I made that turned out amazing! U are my go to for all Puerto Rican recipes now lol. My PR husband is a much happier man. 😆
ОтветитьIn place of the water, I use white wine - nothing fancy — just Goya..sometimes I’ll use a regular white wine.
Because of blood pressure, I won’t use salt and adobo. I just use adobo.
Since there are variations of the recipe, my family never uses cumin or carrots so I skip it. I’m sure it’s delish.
Either way, the recipe here is perfect and one of the best I’ve seen on other videos.
I have to say your technique in making stew chicken is my best way to make it.. I thank you so much for your recipe.. I am puertorican and much older than you but I never knew how to cook this way and I love it.. and of course I love you for your cooking knowledge with easy instructions.. thank you sweetheart you are the best..
ОтветитьTruly one of the best recipes ever!! Love to make it! ♥️
ОтветитьYou are my life saver!! It’s 2024 and this is on repeat 2x per week! My whole family literally fight over the last piece! I’m Ecuadorian descent and I don’t know how to cook my own culture’s food because I tend to gravitate more to the Caribbean food than anything else. So this is where you come in 😂😂 thank you for making your videos easy and simple. ❤
ОтветитьIda are you ok, haven't seen any new videos.
