Curses! Jim Cooper & Jeff Dixon on Alex Coming Back, Larry’s Backstory, and Adding More Horror

Curses! is back from season two! After saving Dad Alex from the Void, the Vanderhouvens are now returning the cursed artifacts and the family. But things don't feel normal, even by their cursed standards.

This season, we learn more about the backstories of the family, get new characters, and spend even more time with our season one favorites, Sky, Russ, Pandora, Larry, Stanlely, and Margie.

The second season of “CURSES!” features the returning voice talents of Emmy Award nominee Gabrielle Nevaeh (“Monster High”) as Pandora, Andre Robinson (“The Loud House”) as Russ, Emmy Award nominee Lyric Lewis (“Waffles + Mochi”) as Sky, SAG award winner Reid Scott (“Veep”) as Alex, Rhys Darby (“Our Flag Means Death”) as Stanley, James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) as Larry, Emmy Award winner Rhea Perlman (“Barbie”) as Margie, Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad (“A Raisin in the Sun”) as Georgia Snitker and Robert Englund (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”) as Cornelius.

I talked to Curses! creator Jim Cooper and Jeff Dixon about bringing Alex back into the fold now that he's no longer in the Void, exploring Sky's ancestors, Larry's backstory, introducing new characters, and stepping up the horror this season.
