Are the exercises in the linked video for Hip Osteoarthritis also considered the "safe/easy stretches" or is there a separate video showing the stretches that might help? Thanks!
ОтветитьSir when I walk my hip feel shaking what is this Pls ho me
ОтветитьWhat if i think I have all these dr?😢
ОтветитьI can relate to many of the things said in the video I have a sharp deep groin pain (especially with internal rotation) and a quite significant restriction in external rotation and also some glute med/piriformis issues. I also had trochanteriic bursitis but this and the buttock pain have improved, I think mainly due to single leg exercises and glute strengthening. However, the restricted mobility, groin pain and clicking sound (all of these mainly on my right side) are still there. I also have poor internal rotation. I have seen an orthopedist and got an MRI and X-Ray of my hips. The thing is, these images can't explain my problems, the hips look quite ok and only a subtle deteroriation of the bony structure is visible. What could it be? I am thankful for any idea and tip on what I can do to improve.
ОтветитьGood🎉
ОтветитьAs an ocupational medicine specialist I found this video and your channel overall exceptional. Thank you!
ОтветитьBam, and just like that and in under 6 minutes I pretty much know what my pain may be. As you said, there's a lot of noise out there, but you explained it straight and to the point. THANK YOU!
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьGood info
ОтветитьHad hip replacment 10mon ago and pain in hip trouble walking .
Crossed leg over other to take off shoe and felt like got stabbed in hip with a hot knife.
Thank you so much for this video explaining the differences in these sources of hip pain! I actually came across your video for exercises for gluteal tendinopathy first, and had begun working on those with surprisingly quick reduction in pain, but this video confirmed my self-diagnosis. I will continue with your exercise regimen and expect to experience continued reduction in symptoms. The only question I still have is WHY. Yes, I'm a post-menopausal female (though unusually narrow-hipped), but why one leg rather than the other? I'm a PT Assistant of over 20 years, and all of my colleagues insisted I was experiencing piriformis or ITB issues. None of the protocols recommended to me helped, and x-ray showed no structural changes.
ОтветитьI wish my previous healthcare providers would have known this information. As someone who has had hip problems for over 15 years (yet only 46) I was ignored way too many times! It seems in my thirties it was only hip impingement, but into my forties it became the osteoarthritis that it is now (and it's severe). By the time I saw a doctor at 42 that actually knew what to look for, I was told I need both hips replaced, and my hips wrre the worst they had ever seen one doc described them as the hips of an 80 year old)! This was confirmed by a second opinion. The goal was to put it off for as long as possible, since I would likely outlive the duration a replaced hips would last. Now I can barely walk, my range of motion is practically nil, and I am almost unable to go up or down any steps. I use a walker frequently to help my mobility and I am unable to put off surgery any longer. What's worse than two hip replacements at 46? Double hip replacements at 70. Thank you for your videos.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. Do any of these conditions happen to accompany calcification? If ultrasound shows "soft tissue calcification of the anterior inferior iliac spine", would that tend to relate to any of the above in your opinion?
ОтветитьI got my lower back/SI to crack after digging my psoas. What if I have all three problems and disc issues?
ОтветитьAs a physical therapist, this is very valuable. So thank you for the information, I subscribed and will recommend your channel to my colleagues.
