Hornby’s Operational Strategy; Steal the Pensions.
ОтветитьThe radiator fan mesh etching may be intentional as there is a small amount of mesh overhang under the first metal border ring on the real life English Electric locomotives, something rarely represented correctly in diesel models. Even Accurascale opted not to model it for their Class 55 runs.
ОтветитьThis almost looks like Hornby has asked Accurascale to do the work and production for them. 😅🤪. But you know, take that comment is jest. Still no thanks, it’s grossly overpriced and I’m sure some will be sold and stuck in a glass display case never to be run for those with big pockets filled with expendable cash. And yes I could get it, but I can also get an O gauge loco for same price.
ОтветитьNo thanks not at Hornby's extortionate prices. 👎💩👎
ОтветитьWhy do all these companies who do model railway equipment keep following each other this deltic wS done by bachmann a few years ago, why cant they come up with models that haven't been done there plenty out there like a running model of a herrin ballast wagon or DMUs that have disappeared into history,
ОтветитьI like all the exposed copper pickups! £405, bargain! 😅😅😅 And now from the Hornby Fan Boys 🤬😭
ОтветитьTo be honest seeing it's Hornby I'm straight away not interested
Ответитьnot for me . too expensive. anyway its been done before.far better the clowns bring back the transcontinentle series like the EMD F7 diesel,
ОтветитьI think its beautiful 👍
ОтветитьSo, twice the price of Accurascale's Deltic? ...
ОтветитьA really stupid decision to produce yet another model of DP1 when we still don't have a model of one of the most prolific EMU's on the Network. Stop wasting time and money on models almost nobody wants, its time to produce an Electrostar EMU.
ОтветитьI'll stick with my Bachmann NRM version
ОтветитьI believe that the prototype actually had a Silver roof finish. I converted a Lima Deltic ( a green one named MELD ) with a white metal kit a very long while ago, about 40years + . Regards from Ron. 🚆🚝👍😃
ОтветитьI saw it last week at Hornby looks great very hefty ordered one from Bere valley models
ОтветитьLooks cool, but I want an APT so I will save for that instead.
Ответить£404.99 😂😂😂 Hornby have lost the plot when you can buy an Accurascale loco with the same features, level of detail etc and have more than £100 change in your pocket! The sooner they wake up or disappear the better.
ОтветитьBut didn't Bachmann make one years ago?
ОтветитьLooks really nice, I hope the roof fans are better than the ones on the class 43 hst packs, they should have gone for the exhaust smoke unit like you get on the ESU class 66 H0 model, fair play to those whom purchase them, I’m sure that another manufacturer will produce one in an ultra detailed spec in the future.
ОтветитьI've been saying hornby 'oo' wrong for 53 years... dooouplo! Is it that or ?? feel cheated😮
Ответить404.99 pound I think not.hornby are pricing them selfs out of the market.i for one won’t buy any more hornby products until they drop there extortionate prices.they seem to forget one basic fact.there customers are there biggest asset, and without them they are nothing.
ОтветитьHornby, weeks away from going bust, very sad ,but unfortunately, everything British is going tits up!!!
ОтветитьAmazing how it's possible to preorder on the Hornby website, but they will only supply 1 of these models to my local model shop, who have had interest from at least 6 potential customers.
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, but the new "Dublo" models are seriously overpriced. True, they've a lot of features etc, but for the money, I much prefer to buy the older, original Hornby Dublo 3 rail locos. Much nicer, easier to work on and maintain as well as knowing that if you drop it, it wont break into a sh*t ton of pieces....
ОтветитьThey have to be joking !! I think someone at Hornby needs to get asking what Modellers really want before they go bust yet again !!
ОтветитьRather save a few quid and stick with the Dapol ex Airfix model....
Ответить£404 for a toy train.. but wait it's got little metal bits... So what... Do it in plastic and stop looking for excuses to rocket the price up and make them in the UK... You wouldn't give the business of making them to say the Russians so why China.
ОтветитьYou can hear the Rivet Counters going Ferrel already!
Ответитьtoo expensive these days Hornby is sending itself broke
