Flashed ecu gets you to 72 to 75 hp at rear wheel. Does slip on or full system add any power? No other mods, love sound of slip on is full system worth it?
ОтветитьIf only Suzuki made one of this...
ОтветитьI really foresee an interest in 500-550cc sportbikes in the near future. This category was all the rage in the early to mid 80's and with todays tech could make for an exciting ride once again.
Ответитьwould you have any info on gearing?
I was hoping to get shorter gearing to get more acceleration and torque to give up some of the HP.
Is that possible?
Good luck with the warranty.
ОтветитьIts not like 50% gain, the kawasaki claim in stock is 71-75hp, but just because the US restriction, it’s only produce around 50hp, i saw on the other channel, the factory sets the throttle only open for 50% when it reach 13/14k rpm, so with flash ecu and set the throttle back to 100% at 13/14k, the bike reach back to around 70+hp like the factory claim, i believe this bike can go over 80hp with tune & more mods in the near future, which is amazing, btw i have the zx25rr here in Indonesia, same features and bike, just smaller engine with 250cc in it, probs around 50hp, cheers
ОтветитьIn Australia, we have it stock at 76hp (56.7kw). My daily Ninja 400 is only making 47hp (35kw). Both bikes having the similar torque will reach common street speed limits at around the same timing. I'm not sure if it's wise to spend double on the zx4rr unless you're using it on the track. I'd get the 2024 zx6r if I were looking for a track bike over this as they're quite close on pricing. They need to price it closer to the Ninja 400.
ОтветитьIt’s just crazy that emission laws are strangling that bike that much.
ОтветитьNot really sure why people are even buying these bikes. Why buy something that's uncomfortable and slow? The people ride em for speed so why a 400? I get it for beginners.
ОтветитьZX4-RR is listed, stock, @ 75HP in the UK.
Massive power in a 400cc that's been designed to meet emission regs while Honda is withdrawing their on JDM CB400.
70+ HP on a 400cc is amazing. The best part is, insurance here plates this bike like a small dual sport. The difference between this bike and even a naked 800cc it's about 1500/year.
ОтветитьNow what if you took out the cat on the stock exhaust system and tuned it? Would there be gains?
ОтветитьSo thanks to California, they have to sell them with almost half their power locked.. Man screw those guys!!
ОтветитьU said 50% Gaines wtf is 4hp hahahaha
Ответить😂Bummer,,
I live in Beautiful Cebu City Philippines,
and these bikes are flying out of the Kawasaki Dealerships everywhere in South East Asia,,
Big advantage here 95 ,97 and 100 Octane fuels are the norm here Kawasaki has no restrictions on the Asain market, ZX25R 51hp , ZX4RR 98hp, the latest edition the the Kawasaki lineup for 2024 ,,,
is the 329$ i can get a new ECU which is flashed already? or this is only a reflashed charge?
ОтветитьPeople underestimate this bike just because they don't understand how neutered it is out of the factory.. i love kawasaki for don't giving up on four cylinder. Such a cool "little" bike, reminds me of that art piece that is the cbr400rr
ОтветитьIsnt it because the us gets a extremely restricted version of this ?
ОтветитьThe torque is quite low the for the bike horsepower is high for a 400
ОтветитьWeird. It's sold with 77bhp bone stock here.
ОтветитьLove you bike 🏍 ❤️ ♥️ ❤❤❤
ОтветитьIt’s not as impressive once you remember they’re detuned from the get go. Of course it’s gonna be a big number. It’s not that surprising.
ОтветитьShame ya have to spend an extra G just to get the bike the way it should have been from kawasaki minus government restrictions.
ОтветитьSo put a tiny 25-shot of Spray on it would bump the gain up to 100% 😜😎
ОтветитьI hope they continue this trend.
"See, our bikes are EU fuel compliant! ....just don't flash them to unlock 50% more power WINK WINK!"
Yea, 50% more power on 400cc bike that is already overpowered by manufacture, very smart thing to do, you can also add 50% chance for engine failure...If you want more power just get bigger cc bike, don't do this bs unless you have money to waste.
ОтветитьDNA filter= ++power
Ответить74 hp at the wheel would be 85 at the crank, that is crazy for a 400cc
ОтветитьWould I need to get it remapped if I did your ecu tune but then later added the same slipon & air filter after?
ОтветитьOf course you guys are on the complete opposite side of the country, lol. ☹️ I only want to bring mine into a good shop and have em do all 3 for me
ОтветитьInsane
ОтветитьIt just they don’t want 300-400cc bike so fast that’s all…Back in the 90s my CBR400RR,GSXR400,ZXR400L7 easily outmeter without fuss..
ОтветитьWhat we has not notice why the 400 lost power is the exhaust header that has the same size as the ZX25R
ОтветитьI reflash my 2022 CB500X and it goes from 39.6hp at wheel to 50.2hp at the wheel with only Moriwaki slip on
ОтветитьIn India it comes with 75hp not detuned
ОтветитьQuick question @2wheeldynoworks would the smog block off plates offered by graves, make any gains, with the slip on, air filter,& your tuning?
ОтветитьIn Europe this bike has 80Hp from dealership
ОтветитьQuiero remapear la ECU de mi kawasaki zx4rr, que debo hacer para ponerme en contacto con ustdes ... gracias
Ответить50% ❤❤❤❤
Ответитьthe same HP as the Yamaha R7(74hp)
ОтветитьThat’s pretty impressive but you’re still paying 10K for a bike that makes less than 100hp
ОтветитьMy old 440 racing sled still beat it almost 100hp but 2 stroke is just awesome for power mzxz 440 vm 2002
Ответитьif i was a smaller guy this would be irresistable, remember all them crazy 400cc 4 cyls the japanese market got in the 90's? The ones we all drooled after? Well, here they are again!
ОтветитьThis bike is supposed to be 75hp stock. We got shafted in NA.
ОтветитьI always wondered about how those ZX4RR bikes with the best of 4 Stroke Technology and addon's could compete against a stock, Orange, Kawasaki 500 H1-B with nice clean plugs. Mine cost $1100 off the showroom floor. K&N air Filters made a heck of a difference and always coffee brown plugs with no CDI.
ОтветитьWow. MY 1987 kawasaki ninja 600r made 75hp it was was king did 136 topspeed:until the Honda hurricane came out it did 142 topspeed I had Both--Then the Sportbike wars began.. that being said I am selling my Suzuki gsx s1000f to get one of these zx4rr ..The question I wish anyone could answer is...... After this tune no restrictions what is the top speed of the motorcycle??? ? ???
Ответитьyou are too big or the bike is too small ha ha
Ответитьthose 4 inline are not comparable with other engines 2 cyl but its a little expensive i hope the new bikes keep coming with 4 inlines even for smaller engines
Ответить
