😂 Dumb ideas that are violations of citizens rights and won’t stop anything. Locking up so many people for so many years for petty stuff has criminalized a huge segment of society. Targeting minority communities with massive amounts of “proactive” police work has consequences. Stevie Wonder could have seen where this was going a long time ago. Great job our leaders are doing!

If you don't feel safe without the gun, go where you can have it, or stay home. Keep every body safe. Disney manages to do this with 159,000 people daily. The city can do it too. There were anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 down town for Halloween, but that is the busiest day of the year. There will be less people on a normal basis. It is a rush ,but it is concentrated to a small area where resources can be placed. Better to have 30 people checking bags and ID, than 100 officers guessing what may happen. Once a threat is located or a gun the officers can do their job with more ease, before chaos erupts.

I’m sorry did I miss something this is not the first shooting resulting in death downtown Orlando safety measures should have been in place years ago let’s not forget others who lost there lives downtown in the past
