The Indian Air Force inducted eight Apache AH-64E attack helicopters at a ceremony at northern Pathankot Airbase in Punjab, India, on Tuesday, September 3.
This was the first set of the intended 22 helicopters to be used by the Indian Air Force under a multi-billion dollar contract signed in 2015 with the US government and Boeing.
The aircraft has the capability to shoot, fire, and forget an advanced range of anti-tank guided missiles, rockets, and other ammunition. (REUTERS)
