Great project Carl!! Love "Ham Nation" George will be awarded the special achievment award at Dayton this year, he really deserves it. Summer and winter have been unbelivably busy for me this year so I haven't talked to ya much,,Natalie and I will have to have ya over for a cookout sometime this spring as things will hopefully slow down for us. ОтветитьHey Keith, good to hear from you. I have not been on lately either. Hope to get more active this spring. Feelling good about this video idea. 73 Friend.
ОтветитьI think it would be a cool project! The nice thing is each of us can go at our own pace!
ОтветитьThat's right plus you can review as many times as needed. What a great tool YT is. Thanks for watching. ;)
ОтветитьThanks for doing a video on a project like this. I am a devoted follower of Ham Nation also and I know George was talking about this project coming up soon.
ОтветитьThanks for doing this series. I'll be watching.
ОтветитьActually I used the Gordon West books for my Tech and General licenses. For my advanced I did the ARRL book. That was interesting - the ARRL book focuses heavily on theory which I loved. Then I just drilled on the question pool for my extra and passed the element 1C at the same time. That was 20 years ago.
ОтветитьReally cool, Carl, I'm looking forward to going through this series. Thanks for doing this.
ОтветитьThank you Al. Didn't turn out as planned lol but left a pretty good lesson.
ОтветитьThis is such a good video
ОтветитьCarl - whats the handgun on the wall. Looks really neat!!! Doug
ОтветитьAlways wanted to learn the theory of radio and how to solder. What a great job you are doing on this for others.my father went to one of the first radio schools in Washington, D.C. In the mid twenties.
He didn't have time to teach me , their were a lot of kids in the family.
Now that I am retired, I look forward to this. I purchased the kit at amozan. I need any help or recommendations on the three measuring devices that I can get.
Thanks again,I am excited. Mike
I just found you on you tube and went back to this first video an building the AM/FM radio. Thanks for sharing this build with all of us, by the way, George Thomas and I went to school together back many years ago and later both of us worked at the same radio station here in MS.
ОтветитьHi Carl, I have damaged coil blue an pink of the Ratio Detector but I have a multi coils toko (blue and pink) that I suppose is for a Ratio detector. You can please help me for the substitution or some ideas.. Thanks Gabry
