I wish I had known about this before my pregnancy. I just lost my son at 37weeks on 11/27/2024 due to IUGR, there was no indication that anything was wrong, no genetic issues, and was related to placenta insufficiency.
My life has been turned completely upside down, and I have so much grief and regret that this wasn’t caught earlier and received earlier intervention to save him. Now I’m without my son, and having an answer as to what happened leaves me no peace.
All I can say is that I wish it was routine to offer an ultrasound scan at 28-30 weeks because my fundal measurements were all on track so I wasn’t able to receive another scan.
