Lord Lyonel was himself a huge knight & mighty melee warrior. At Dunk’s trial of Seven it’s said he was able keep Prince Maekar (another deadly knight) at bay for time. Dunk must’ve improved quite a bit by this time to be able to subdue him. Of course it probably helped that no knight was larger than Dunk

Lyonel Baratheon is my favourite character in all the series. He’s a proper bloke. Defends the weak and innocent. Has a laugh, likes a scrap, likes a drink
