Massive Fragrance Declutter - Perfumes I’m not wearing

Maybe I'll have a declutter some day 🤔

I always feel better after a good declutter. My sisters eagerly away my declutter makeup and fragrance boxes 🤗

You seem pretty serious about the strive for minimalism.

So interesting to see how we all like different things...I wonder what determines what notes we like and those we are not so keen on. xx

I have become very good at not getting new fragrances … but decluttering and even thinking about decluttering makes me nervous! I was clutching my non-existent pearls when I saw La Belle 😱.

I can see what you're saying about La Belle. But Soleil Blanc? I couldn't give that one up, but it is pretty rich. So now I'm wondering which perfumes are your loves for that genre? Thanks Claire 🐈‍⬛

Ooo I love Oajan. Sounds like Fragrenza really nailed the scent profile. Can't imagine it would be terribly difficult to replicate though - sugar, cinnamon, apple, sugar, amber, benzoin.....ahhhh sugar...oh no I said that already. Well it's sweet anyway. 😆 Great to layer with though.

If you're not using them, getting them new home's where they'll be enjoyed and used is a great option. I just give them to my son's, and another box is accumulating for a friend. Tastes and preferences evolve, I have a couple that I just don't swoon over or wear anymore.

Feels so good to have a clear out, good for the mind and soul too. La Belle and Prada Candy were surprising, though i agree about how synthetic La Belle is. I haven't worn it in ages but i reach for it on occasion. Just sold two more of my fragrances, and it always feels good to move things on. 👌👌

Nice video Claire - Ideally, I would like to get down to about 25 bottles and we are moving house soon so I have started to sell some and give some away. Currently I have about 50 bottles and having to pack them up really gave me the kick I needed to get rid of the ones I simply don’t wear anymore. 😊

I could probably do away with most Lush scents but snowcake is my personal favourite (I got 4 bottles last year!). I own the Classique from JPG. An also synthetic orange blossom and loved it for quite a while but haven’t touched it in about 2 years. As you with La Belle, it now reads too “synthetic”. Funny how we fall out of love/get bored with scents. Mental note to follow your example and sell some of mine! I have more bottles than I’d like to admit which aren’t getting much use.

Thank you for making me feel so much better about the ones I simply fall out of love with even though I was once obsessed. It’s ok to change our minds! 💞

Ah Claire always take my hat off to those who are able to declutter. The biggest shock definetly La Belle but if you're not loving them then they deserve love

I'm not crazy about wearing citrusses on myself so I used my Nice Bergamote sample on my bathroom walls and it's such a lovely experience to step into my bathroom now.

I have the same Sofia Vergara and totally agree with you, the way you described it. It's good for the price but something is amiss.

The probing finger at Bean.. I’m dying. 🤣 What a freeing but bittersweet feeling it is to part with fragrances especially the ones that had a special moment while in a collection. Sigh. Been decluttering for a year now and still doing it myself just today. xx
