ОтветитьI buy it and make spicy tuna rolls
ОтветитьOh, oh, oh gonna make that next week on my little Mexican island. Haven't had it since last season. I buy those packaged ahi tuna at our one everything store.
ОтветитьSoy Sauce, Mirin, Sesame Oil is THE BOMB COMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThat goes great with something simple like wasabi and soy sauce. Or with seaweed salad. 😋
ОтветитьBeing Under $5, this looks incredible
ОтветитьNO MORE PARTIES IN ALDI 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьIf you saw that it was thinner why would you sear it for so long😂 real amateur move fella.. then you complain about it . lol
ОтветитьStrangely the Walmart ahi tuna is better
ОтветитьIf you are serious about your seafood, especially if you consume seafood from international markets, I would suggest looking at the Seafood Source website. The old adage: 'Let the buyer beware' applies in a strong way if you are buying what is normally high-priced seafood for lower budget prices. Knowledge is power. Seafood Source covers a wide range of topics that may interest the seafood eating enthusiast.
ОтветитьFrom one (ex) Marylander to another. Try LIDL grocery store as well. German grocery store chain like ALDI but nicer.
ОтветитьMe and my husband like to get these and make poke bowls with them. Sometimes they're a little fishy and sometimes the amount of silver skin ruins it but it's poke on a budget so 🤷
Ответитьone question. I love your channel. Have you ever gotten sick from seafood in your life? And what made you sick?
ОтветитьMy boy marinated just the bottoms of those
ОтветитьI really dont get the hype of tuna, tastes too much metal for my taste. I eat a fuckload of fish, been fishing since before i started school etc. fish is essential in my diet, but the tuna really eludes me as to why its so sought after and expensive. like why?
ОтветитьJust blacken with seafood magic in clarified butter
ОтветитьNow he's broke from eating crab 3 times a day, for 6 months. They're repossesing the house and he's having to shop at aldis. You should try brown sugar salmon.
ОтветитьThese are treated with CO gas to make the color pink. Really not the good stuff which has a much deeper color
ОтветитьIt is such a shame that Aldi is from Germany and we don't have any of those nice items here. Tuna. Crab clusters? Why are they not here in Germany 😢
ОтветитьTry peppercorn on the outside of the tuna and sear it andale a wasabi vinaigrette and it is rediculously good
ОтветитьThis channel
Maximum presence
Minimal fuss
They used to have very good scallops before covid, and they were only 10$ per pack
Ответитьi keep seeing people not fully submerging while marinating! i think ur missing the point! im sure its correct off cam
Ответитьi would chop it up and make a spicy tuna mix, then maybe make some maki roll, hand roll and gunka. and make little variations to each bite for a cheap light lunch or a snack. all 3 rolls are very easy to make just different presentation.
ОтветитьUgh
ОтветитьPlease do yourself a favor and try a select sauce from pepper palace. They're all amazing
ОтветитьYou should’ve prepared your marinade BEFORE putting the fish inside 🤦♂️
ОтветитьYou seared a little too long I think.
ОтветитьTry the Aldi black tiger shrimp. Steamed dipped in butter. Taste like lobster tail.
ОтветитьTry the Aldi black tiger shrimp steamed or grilled dipped in butter. Taste like lobster tail
ОтветитьThat's my name 😅
ОтветитьGet it really dry with a paper towel, light veggie oil in a ripping pan, 45 seconds a side. Money. I think your marinade probably steamed it a little
ОтветитьI would poach in garlic herb olive oil for tuna fish sandwiches
ОтветитьTaste like rubber
ОтветитьI keep my freezer stocked with it. Can't beat it for the price
ОтветитьI don't fully thaw mine. Just enough to get a black pepper crust to stick
ОтветитьGross
ОтветитьSorry but i can’t Ik some fish are okay to eat raw but i cannot for the life of me do it
ОтветитьThats a premium with cost and freshness. Pink is a decent color for that price point and cooking time.
ОтветитьDoes anyone enjoy seafood more than this man?
ОтветитьRaw tuna from aldi is smooth barin activity
ОтветитьRedundant
ОтветитьThose mussels are so GOOD!
ОтветитьAldi has huge chicken legs. Excellent on the grill!!
ОтветитьLoving the Aldi content can’t lie
ОтветитьThey definitely buy in bulk
ОтветитьWe always try to keep these tuna steaks stocked in our freezer
ОтветитьMy Aldi’s has a bag of seafood boil, and I’m dying to try it. I recently moved to a very small town, so my shopping options are limited. Aldi’s is a new experience for me, but I must say, I’m not completely disappointed.
ОтветитьLovely !!
ОтветитьMedium heat for 1 minute per side typically works really well
