It's actually worse than that. This was not a pardon. They have just "dropped the charges" BUT they can bring them back if he doesn't do what Trump wants over immigration. "Bove's memo suggested that a dismissal of the Adams indictment may not be permanent. He wrote that prosecutors should drop the charges only if Adams agrees to the possibility that they may be brought again."

I didn’t think it was a pardon. I believe they ordered the southern district of New York to drop the case against Mayor Adam’s. It was dropped without prejudice meaning they can bring it back if he doesn’t get in line. This is more than just a garden variety case of corruption. This completely stinks. I wonder how the people of NYC is going to react. I suspect his days as mayor are numbered.
