If anyone hasn't seen this yet, don't judge it by this trailer. This doesn't do the movie justice, in the least bit. This was one of the best made movies I've seen in a very long time. It's very in-depth. This trailer makes it out to be a cliche, feel good flick. It's not. It will take you by surprise. Paul Dano and De Niro are so convincing in this. Especially Dano. You don't feel like it's a movie. Don't let this turn you off from it. It's so worth the watch.

Very Interesting film. People complain that this movie is depressing. To an extent it is. But you're not looking from the right direction! Paul Danos character didnt turn up a Drunk mentally Ill creature like DeNiro who plays the father. He chose differently. Its Hard Work but he did it!I think this film depicts pretty realistically What its like to live with Mentally ill people, Personaly Disordered. He was drowning and wanted to take his son with him. He failed
