The 7th Year M.A ABRAHAM Memorial Community marriages @Keralasamaj

The seventh year M.A ABRAHAM Memorial Community marriages, conducted by Madras Kerala Samaj in association with Aban Foundation(Chennai), is scheduled to take place at the Kerala Samaj Hall on the 24th of November 2011, at 10.30am. This year ten couples are slated to begin their marital bliss among us. Each of those couples is from a financially underpriviledged background.


As the music through the Nadhaswaram and melam fills the air, the honorary members presiding over the event, will hand over the Mangalyam to the groom; the groom knots the Mangalyam around the bride, promising to protect and care for her at all times; the ceremony will end with the couples exchanging garlands. In addition to the community marriages, the scholarships to school students, felicitation of the senior writer Mr. V.K. BALAKRISHNAN, DISTRIBUTION OF OTHER CHARITY AIDES WILL TAKE PLACE. DR.T.M.R.
