This video was so well-crafted.
ОтветитьGod and the Abrahamic platforms are myth and fairytales.... lol
ОтветитьWow, this information is incredibly inspiring and insightful. Thank you so very much for sharing. I'm a wanna be writer who's been stuck in Writers Block World. I feel like I can write again if I listen to this again, as it gives me a better understanding overall. Love this.....
ОтветитьAnother Hollywood flm idiot who does not want to share information and says nothing in long sentences .
ОтветитьJung, Campbell and others who constructed this framework studied stories and myths from around the world to determine what they all had in common. It is therefore, by definition, universal. And those who oppose the hero are, by definition, villains. When villains try to write stories, they ring hollow.
ОтветитьMr Vogler is so right about American heroes. Try English hero Tommy Atherstone in "Green Fire", IngramSpark, Geoff Nelson Hill. 😉
ОтветитьJoseph Campbell's work, specifically The Hero with A Thousand Faces, should be required reading for all writers.
ОтветитьGained great knowledge from this interview. Thanks. I'll be revisiting this one many times.

Ответить📚 Great Learning about Mythical Archetypes, creating Stories of Heroes and Fairy Tales 📺
👏 Christopher Vogler is an Iconic Writer, instrumental towards the success of Walt Disney and similar movies.
Would like to see a Heroines Journey interview
ОтветитьI saw the video – bought the book.
ОтветитьThis is pure gold.

ОтветитьThis was very insightful! I love how you portrayed the character arcs and the heroes journey. I will definitely utilize these pointers in my writing.
ОтветитьOver the years I've watched hundreds of videos on filmmaking. Film Courage continues to be an important part of my maturation as a filmmaker. So many of these excellent interviews have contributed to my learning and advancement; particularly as a screenwriter. We never get to see the interviewer, but she has a warmth and inviting voice, asks great and relevant questions, is patient, non-judgmental, fun and moves the interview along. It's fascinating to see which videos get the greatest number of views. Regardless, none of the interviews lack merit to someone striving to make movies. Thank you, Film Courage.
ОтветитьThank you thank you thank you, I really needed this full interview ❤ helped me a lot
ОтветитьHero
ОтветитьAmazing interview - film courage is so valuable to writers/filmmakers.
ОтветитьLove the Hero's Journey! Have any of you listened to the podcast, "The Ancient Tradition"? I just listened to a fascinating episode where they tie the "Hero's Journey" to a cosmic battle in the Heavens. Very, very interesting...in light of Joseph Campbell's research....OH, AND IT EVEN MENTIONS THIS GUY- Christopher Vogler!
ОтветитьThank you SO MUCH for posting this!
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! Thank You!
ОтветитьThis man is so sincere and generous. I really enjoyed this.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьOne of the best summaries on mythological archetypes out there! Thank you very much for such an amazing interview with Mr. Vogler!

ОтветитьThank you. It took me 3 hours as there were plenty of notes to take.
ОтветитьIs there an anti-hero's journey? How does it depart from the stages of the hero's journey? Asking for a tragedy.
ОтветитьWow the OG here
ОтветитьThe man himself!
ОтветитьPlease share any of your thoughts here
ОтветитьThank you! ❤
