Jayce Turley is a 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Greenup County, Kentucky whose debut EP The Opening Act released on April 14th, 2022
Heavily influenced by his father and grandfather's love of music, Jayce started attending bluegrass camps and seminars every summer at age 6, where he picked up the fiddle and dobro. He settled into guitar at the age of 12 and started singing and writing songs at 14.
In the few years since, Jayce has shared bills with accomplished artists including Marty Stuart, Town Mountain, Morgan Wade, Jason Eady, Cole Chaney, Nolan Taylor, Dayton Farley, and Larry Keel. Since the release of The Opening Act, he has released two single tracks along with a live album.
Homegrown Happy Hour is a showcase for musical artists from around the region. Hosted by Ben Davis, Jr., each show in this second season will be broadcast live on two of Total Media’s radio stations (Pure Rock – 105.5 FM-WXTQ & 98.7 FM-WYRO) and will also be streamed on the Total Media Radio smartphone app. New episodes will air on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Each episode will later be available on demand with the Homegrown Happy Hour with Ben Davis, Jr. podcast available on all major podcast providers including Apple Podcasts & Spotify.
