I have a question regarding thia subject. Is it better running this than running macos in vmware workstation pro?

Do you use the Mac you installed and how efficient is it? Not really about the wonders, but the functionality in my opinion

im tryng to change the RAM memory on macOS installed by dockerosx, but no luck for me. can anyone help me pls? (i change container ram memory and no sucess)

I've virtualized macOS in Proxmox.
But Im astonished to know that it's possible to do it on Docker.

But I Got a question:
In Proxmox I make GPU Passthrough, in order to use the GPU Card hardware with the virtual machine, so with this I can get full acceleration.

With this image of docker, GPU passthrough is already set? Or i must to set it?
I heard you saying that it uses virt.
Might be i must install virtmanager and so make GPU passthrough?

This is a beautiful way to expand the market reach of MacOS. To be honest, it would be difficult for me to choose between MacOS, Debian or Ubuntu. Ubuntu is great as it's well supported for my cloud provider Digital Ocean.

Worked great and I got a fully functional CLI for a MacOS environment, I was able to move around in the file system and explore it. No GUI at all. There are simpler MacOS solutions that provide the full GUI and not just the CLI.

Now I can finally run Ventura on my cMP 5.1 running monterey with opencore virtualizing windows with parallels running arch via hyper-V which will run docker with Ventura... :DDDD Why is apple claiming it's "unsupported" ?? :PPP

Install macos on docker, then try to install docker on said macos, that's when true pain starts

When I get to the install process it say it will take 8 hours, I tried restarting the install but it still will take 8+ hours. Is there a way to fix this?

i'd like to see a windows install version. ** got it sort of running** got ot the installer and then i lose keyboard/mouse. i can't do anything else after that. while i did get to move arround and try use the disk manager it was laggy as hell nd 2 mice.

I tried doing this in Ubuntu and it failed, I'm not smart enough or have enough patience or experience to figure out what I need to do to install it. I'd like to do something like this, but I'll just go and buy an Apple laptop and call it a day.

Keep an eye on what Docker does on your system, it not only flushes my nftables rules and loads it's own rules, but also disabled the nftables service.

This is great if you need MacOS occasionally! But as someone who has been hackintoshing for some time now I can tell that this is really just something to use if you have very basic needs. From what I can tell graphics acceleration is not working (the dock is not transparent or there is a command during the install that disables that option but it seems to be the former) but hey, this channel is really not about hackintoshing and I know that your viewers are here for docker and virtualization shenanigans.
An easy way to check on graphics acceleration is to go to the „about this Mac“ section and look at the video memory btw. Would love to know how much you have available with this method.
