Two Dash 9s Assist 2 Six Axle Gensets Pull Heavy Freight Over My G Scale Mountain Sub!

This video casts an interesting locomotive consist. Because this train was so heavy with the addition of several USA Trains tank cars, I had to add two Dash 9 locomotives for the extra power needed to pull this train up the steep grades of my g scale Mountain Subdivision. There are two directions that a train can travel over my appropriately titled Mountain Subdivision. An easy way where train climbs a less steeper grade of 1.5 to 2% and a difficult way where trains climb a much steeper grade of over 3%. Anyone that owns the g scale USA modern tank cars knows how heaven these cars actually are. Simply put my two six axle Gensets ( former USA Trains SD40-2 locos) could not get the job done. Adding the 2 dash 9s got the job done. Because this is so unique, I decided to make a video of the train battling the steep grades and traversing horseshoe curves.
