this and car mechanic simulator are my 2 favourite "this should be boring but its not" games

My friend gifted me this yesterday. I think he wants to punish me.

Snowrunner is a very slow game to complete, but this is what keeps you from getting bored, the game is also pretty fun and can be pretty tricky at times but once you finish what you were aiming for, you feel a great feeling of success :D

Bro i only play FPS shooter or RPG ... But this was all out of my type game ..but m addicted to this. .. it takes a lot of patience and is a lot chill...

And it's a huge game Eve if you play the Vanilla game it's almost endlessly long ...and after you get bored they offer u Mods by the community ..in game ... Wow

Nope not a simulator. The MPG is ridiculous. Yes I understand that it’s because of the limited map size. Rolling is way to easy. I rolled a tanker at low speed on flat surface while not turning, it just suddenly rolled. No manual transmission. Things you crash through like barriers will sometimes cause damage but will respawn so you have to navigate them every time. Every truck moves so slow but the day night cycle happens at an accelerated rate. Very frustrating but equally satisfying when you FINALLY get where you’re going. In other words. A pretty decent GAME. 😃

i have just started playing snowrunner after watching so many gameplay videos online, and i can honestly say im addicted! i havent tried multiplayer yet but im keen to do so!

When I get home from a stressful day at work, I don't think there is many games that be as relaxing as snowrunner with some music, an audiobook or a podcast.

Sometimes you want some action and a competitive "try hard" game. Sometimes, you just want to relax and haul some wood on a semi-trailer though mud. :)

I went from "A mud driving simulator? How silly. That would be fun to try, just for fun. It's free on game pass after all." to "This is one of my favorite games" very very fast... I did not expect that when I started playing.

I love this game, the issue I have is wanting to play as realistic as possible. Not being a programmer, but knowing not everything in real life can be produced in a game as it is in real life. Using various mods and now with the introduction of GAME PLUS mode. Play as realistically as the game's physic's will allow.

In real life having sufficient fund's one can purchase anything they want, and having done so wanting to keep them from being damaged to the point that one would spend all their acquired funds repairing them. One drives in such a way to avoid it. Which is impossible to do in this game. Thus I forced to use the available configuration's that cause there to be no damage, and on those occasion in which I realistically would have caused damage. Simply grim and bear it.

Being fully retired, I've considerably more time to play a considerably slower game. Making sufficient money to purchase the truck's I desire isn't an issue, it's having to be a certain rank or having a certain amount of XP. Which compared to real life, isn't realistic. Thus using the availability to make any and all available is also my choice.

I started as most do in Michigan, and after a month of investing some 8 hour's a day, six day's a week. I'm just about to finish the Michigan Region. With there being ten more region's evolving 17 more maps. I may never at my age of 74, get around to actually finishing the 3rd anniversary edition I have, let alone the next newer version's coming soon.

I just picked this game up recently with low expectations. I have been blown away with how good this game is. I spend my days at work thinking about how I'm going to tackle my next contract when I get back on. Love it.

Had the game for just around two weeks and now I have over 100 hours in the game, it's a really great break from all of the fast paced games, time just flies by

I found this game back durring Covid 1.0. Needless to say I dumped hundred of hours in this zen like gem. Love this game and it's something I go back to now and then when I just want to chill and bury my troubles.

like the souls games, it's a game i didn't quit because I failed, it made me want to try again

I am a truck driver and I have experienced real life muddy fully loaded semi truck with pig hauling trailer stuck in a mud hole near farmer's barn. I was sunk 2/3 past drivers side fuel tanks and leaning. The farmer had a 12 wheel super tractor and used a 120,000lbs tow rope to pull me back onto hard ground. Snow Runner makes feel like reliving those days of muddy trucking.

A friend of mine requested that I try the game a while back so we could all play together, but I avoided it for a long time. Finally, I got the game the other day and now it is one of my all time favorite games I have ever played!

I played just a little bit of the game. Does it eventually explains in-game when to use each gear?

For those of you who have this game, is it better to do PC or would PS4 be a better platform to play on?

I’m in the same position as you, thought it could be good, expected probably crap, ended up picking all the DLC up and loving the heck out of this game! Had two minor glitches: the roof pack gas didn’t refill after dozens of attempts including button mashing and the ground near the first bridge can vanish yet surprisingly is like driving on glass and doesn’t let you fall through. Aside from those two instances I’ve had thousands that haven’t let me down in any way! With a friend is awesome and not punishing and solo is still peaceful and stress relieving, with patience this game doesn’t get me upset even after missions and dumping a couple trailers, I’ve even gone around a map twice redundantly and the only thing annoying was I had a lot of phone calls that day. 10/10 game, the maps are beautiful and well crafted, good size big but dense, huge variety of trucks, scouts, parts, truck types, tires and more with DLC that is more expansion and not Micro transactiony. More developers need to be this way, it’s like games used to be released. Brilliant!

I played this game for an hour a few years ago, it was boring, i got frustrated and went right back to slaying demons. I tried snowrunner again a few days ago and, i have not been this adicted to a game since i was a kid hooked on zelda. I dont know what it is about this game but i will spend several hours delivering bricks in a near trance like state. Winching a broken down truck out of a swamp is pure redneck bliss i thought could only be experienced in real life

This is a great game to play with friends as long as you are all equally interested. You can spend multiple hours playing this and do very little.

Oddly enough just the first few seconds reminds me of death stranding lol

Everything in this was from the PC version of Snowrunner but it is also on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well.
