Psychedelic consciousness, wonder and compassion | Federico Seragnoli | ALPS Conference 2022

This is the introduction speech to the 3-day long Swiss conference on psychedelic research and therapy by the co-founder Federico Seragnoli.

Federico Seragnoli is a psychologist (FSP) in Geneva, working both in a private practice and at the psychedelic unit of the Geneva University Hospital (HUG). In his work, he focuses on psychotherapy, supervising patients undergoing an "exceptional medical use" treatment with psychedelics (MDMA, Psilocybin, LSD) in group and individual therapy settings, and on research, elaborating different lines of inquiry on psychedelic assisted psychotherapy at the hospital. His PhD Thesis work revolves around insight and metacognitive skills as enhancing factors for self-compassion in the integration process within PAP.

ALPS - Awareness Lectures of Psychedelic Science:
We aim to bring together several outstanding researchers and clinicians working with psychedelic substances. Its purpose is to promote the latest scientific and clinical knowledge on the subject and discuss about key issues of the domain.
