Prolly easier to pull the wire with a fish tape before you fasten the conduit to the inverter.

Hi Will. With regards to the Victron 48V Quattro 15kVA 277V Inverter 200A Charger, I will need a charge controller I am assuming. What else would be required to make it ready for operation? PV panels, pv wiring, not to be cosidered as yet. Assume that the current/voltage from the pv, satisifies the requirements in the Quattro 15KVA spreadsheet.

Thanks Will for the video. I'm using 2 12v/ 3000 watt multiplus II for my boat which has 2 30amp shore power legs. I'm still working out the details of integrating the 7k generator and distribution of the AC loads on the boat. My main reasoning is capacity, but more importantly is redundant systems.

When pushing your wire thru any flexible conduit, take a loop of one of the wires (at the push end) double it back, in a tight loop and then tape the other wires below the loop. It will push so much easier and almost never hang up in the flex at the end or anywhere else.

Can tgis be done with the 12v Dc models?

I have 2 identical 120v single phase power stations with 30 amp connectors (24 amps max), can I use them with these inverters to give 240v split phase so I can power 2 legs of a sub panel?

There IS an all-in-one unit that includes a pretty good MPPT AND the Cerbo GX, and it's the Easysolar.

Someone may have posted this, but 2300 watts is not far off their rated spec of 2400W continious. I still don't get why they call it 3KVA when it can only do 2400-watts continous.

Do you have a video of a victron 240v grid tied solar with battery and gas generator backup?

If you do not need the higher amperage, you could also use one of the Victron Autotransformers and not get a second MultiPlus for the second leg of the split-phase system.

Ok I have a multi plus II 24v 3000 I am off grid have been for past 6 months and yes I find the over load comes on 2300 watts I am very happy with my system it works well and I've been considering adding a second victron 24 volt 3000 to the system just to help if I'm running the coffee pot and the air conditioner mini split heat pump the same time the fridge kicks in I can se😮e how this would be an answer my concerns are if I get another unit can I get the information to program it and second sometimes when we don't get enough Sun I will run a generator if I plug in the generator in with a 30 amp twist to the victron my generator does have 240 would I be better off running the through the box at 240 to feed each inverter. This is just a thought at this point but down the line it's something I seriously consider I can live quite comfortably on 350kwh a month great video thank you and if anybody knows where I can find out more information please point me in that direction

I think you made a mistake on wiring. The Vic manual calls for 3 strand 6ga AC-in, 6ga AC-1 out, 10ga AC-2 out. I think you ran 10ga solid on AC1 out. That might be why the Tesla could only charge at a lower amps, the wires got hot and had resistance? Am I wrong? Maybe its different for dual phase?? The vic 3000 can pump out 75a on boost to AC1 and AC2 outs. Also the manual says to use 3 strand not solid wire.

I try to follow along but it is difficult having no experience/ knowledge. Anyway, I’m assuming that utilizing the multiplus 2 for a split phase 120V/240V output, what you are talking about is a higher output for faster charging like for a Tesla?

Its manual states exactly 2400 Watts maximal so why are you surprised?

hey @WillProwse do you have any reviews or experience with the Victron Energy Quattro 5000VA 48 or Victron Quattro 48/10000/140-100/100-230V - +50A Aux VE.Bus. I currently have 2 of multiplus II 3000 iin different configs but I need to run some larger 240v things and it looks like the standalone quattro can do this.

That was a nono, coiling a low voltage data cable around a high voltage power line! Induction is not your friend here.

Need to remove all the other grounds from the neutral bar if your separating them. :)

Can I parallel two of the same PowMr inverters @ 110v each and get 220v single phase? If so, then would I tie the two neutrals together?

I wanted to do a full victron system before I saw the total. Just not for me. Cool products, I would even consider using one of the Phoenix inverters for my well and septic pumps.

My Multiplus-II, with minimal torque on the battery terminal, it sheared off and inside was powdered metal with the outside tinned. Thought the battery terminal would be stainless steel but it isn't. They fixed it under warranty but it cost me $100 to ship it to the repair center. Have the new one installed but not powered on fully yet. Still have some wiring to do.

Dear mr. Prowse, I found this Victron Multiplus 2 which does split phase 2 * 120V 3 kVA. Would that solve the connection problem for your 2 5kVA units? Datasheet-MultiPlus-II-3kVA-2x120V-EN-
