this has genuinely been some of the best advice i've ever heard. It made me realize that pretty much every good beat i made were from days where i was just making 10-20 beats, one beat after another, not focusing on making them perfect

One of the keys here, and I'm sure Nick will agree, is that jumping in with expectations sometimes can fuel disappointment and kill motivation.
A LOT of the great music created comes from a fun creative process so if your not relaxed and enjoying yourself, it can and will damage your end result.

i get the point nick but the mind behind it is working for like..generic produces, cause for example if you wanna produce music to sell it for music libraries,you can't make whatever you want. you need some standards and some type of sounds like..MUST. so this is working just for more beginners but if you want to aim a genre and make master of it,you can't go randomly..

you do burn out with everything in your life eventually. there are strategies to prevent burnout but eventually you will burn out its just how it is. the successful people burnout too everyone does but what makes the successful people actually successful is that they come back after there burnout and make the craziest shiz youll ever hear
