The players have been saying they had no trouble talking English with him - it was a huge moment for the fans for him to finally talk directly to them. I think he probably continues to do interviews with the interpreter just to make sure everything is clearly understood on both sides.

He should retire as a pitcher. His game is good enough. He probably wouldn't have been a 50 50 player if he pitched. His arm probably won't hold up long term. The Dodgers will be just as effective if he doesn't pitch any more.
