RK Factory Process - RK Chain Side Plate Polishing

After heat treatment and quenching, RK Chain side Plates go through a polishing process. Polishing takes off any burs from stamping and evens the rough edges off the plate. The plates are placed in a large tumbler vat with water and a polishing powder. The plates rotate in the tumbler for a set duration then leave the tumbler to get washed. The polished plates are shiny, smooth and ready for any color application such as brass plating for gold or powder coating for red, blue, green, etc.
