I didn't like The Charm Offensive either. It was a drudge to get through and I didn't really like either character. I was so excited about The Violence, but it was a DNF for me at 25%. It was so annoying.

I love all of your videos! I wonder if the issue you have with some books is the audiobook? I have dnf’d some audiobooks that I thought the whole book was awful but read it physically and then loved it. Just a thought 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Damn! That scared me! On the cover for Just Like Mother, the eyes are kind of reflective so when you are moving the book it looks like they're moving (because of the reflection of your lights) 😱

I read Bryony and Roses by T.Kingfisher recently and whilst the plot line wasn't much to write home about, I adored the relationship between the 2 main characters - the banter was SUPREME!
