Boston magazine needs a more assertive attorney. I have been shocked at some of the laws that MA has and doesn’t have. Their witness intimidation law is so over broad that if someone feels sad about comments made to them or they even consider rubber duckies being left with IYKYK stickers on them around Canton witness intimidation. They did a 36 page report on the rubber duckies and a thorough investigation. Much more than they ever put into this trial.

I've never heard of anyone serving a registered agent with anything but the complaint in a civil suit that they accept on behalf of the defendant. It's an odd thing to think serving a subpoena for documents on the registered agent is usual. Wouldn't you serve the party's attorney in the party's home state? Out-of-state subpoenas are tricky and you have to follow the other state's rules. I think this is a stretch.
