I hate it... It drives lumpy, not sporty. It feels "quick" off the line, but accelerating at speed it feels lethargic. The steering ratio is quicker than the chassis can handle. This "Camaro SUV" is for sporty Grandma's and is about 5 years late to the game.

At $45k I’d start looking at the BMW X3 and Audi Q5. I haven’t been inside the Blazer but my guess is that the BMW and Audi have much better interior fit and finish.

Why does CHEVY keeps making boring ass cars. Man take a look at DODGE. The Blazer should be all wheel drive ZL1 POWERED. The have enough boring ass cross overs.

cargo space is about the same as the equinox, so this one is only a tad bigger in general, and has a cooler 6 cyl... so is more of a mix of compact to midsize sub...is it more lux inside ? I'm gonna check the ground clearance, and if not at least 8", it's not a trail blazer. more is really needed for trails, but bare min. of 8" to manage lighter trails and muddy spots, etc.. Does it have a locking centre diff in those options ? for full awd, traction control off mode ?

0-60 in just 6.2 sec. Wow!
Design and acceleration are strong points of the Blazer but I worry about reliability of Chevrolet.

Looks like they are trying to copy the Toyota and Lexus exteriors here. They might be under the impression that that's why people are buying Toyota and Lexus or Honda. If they ever copy the reliability then I'll buy one. The new Chevy prices are also outrageous. This thing is probably the size of a Toyota Rav 4 and cost like a 4 Runner. No way that I would pay over 40k for a vehicle that won't get 100k without major problems. If you want one then just wait till next year and get one for 17k after its been turned in off lease or repossessed. The thing will depreciate 10k as you leave the dealership at least. Go get a Rav 4 or Honda CRV and save yourself money and misery.

I'll be honest. Even though I didn't like the fact it has the Blazer name, this thing is a blast to drive! I've owned several corvettes and a slew of camaros. I'm telling ya, my mom just bought a new hold over 2019 Blazer Premier AWD yesterday and this thing flat out hauls ass and corners like a camaro! I'm severely impressed with it. Hers has the cajun red tintcoat with the 20" dark grey wheels and its beautiful! All I can say is go drive one!

I did a lot of research on various crossover suvs and bought a new 2020 Blazer. It is very quiet going down the road, the ride smooth and the shifting seamless. The V-6 is a very potent power plant for this vehicle. It is easy to get in and out of (I am an amputee). I found the Toyota Highlander and Subaru Forester lacking when compared to this wonderfully designed vehicle. You can't compare this to the old sludge boxes of yore as this is a much more refined vehicle in every respect.

This is the most helpful review I've seen. None ever discuss handling. I'm interested in a new Blazer and coming from a Camaro SS I don't want something with no ability at all. Glad to hear it's not too disappointing in that department.

I have the 2020 RS blazer and thank GOD the button to turn off auto stop/start is available.
Living in NJ,a K5 style blazer would not work here.
Its all about convenience driving.
Good styling and good power
A few disappointments, should have been rear wheel drive while not in AWD.
The front lower seat cushions should have been extended another 2 inches.
The radio display boxes that are on the bottom portion of the display screen are alitte hard to touch without the dash lip Interfering .
The headlamps are high intensity lighting, but dont display the white lighting as you may seen in LEDs or xeon lights
The directional turn singles. are not leds.
However, the cabin is extremely quiet .
I think there is only 2 ways the buy the blazer.
Premier or RS fully loaded.
However both models are 50k+ when the fully loaded traverse is the same price point.
Also keep in mind, the RS in night fall grey with high gross black trim and blacked out R21 wheels look the best

All of these SUVs and Crossovers are just modified, less lame minivans for suburbanites. The most "exciting" terrain these vehicles will ever see is the Trader Joe's parking lot at the strip mall.

There's no way you can convince me that's a crossover. That's an SUV. I don't care how they did the frame, I don't care how they did the wheelbase. An SUV is so based on size and shape in my book.
