Morbius - Yup, It's Terrible

This film is great!

I genuinely dont understand why everyone wants to hate this movie so much, it was a pretty decent movie and dope cgi. And your point of “i dont understand who this guy was or what he wanted” it was literally laid out for you, the whole movie was revolved around him trying to help his friend and he then had to stop the monster he created with his new drug. Like ffs yall are so nitpicky

Perhaps we treated Morbius too harshly.....

I get the consistent hate for morbius.
And you made a couple points that were amazing.
However I actually enjoyed the movie, the ending was awkward just because well he seemed to be an antihero but they wanted a full villain.

I honestly think it should have went R ratting content, but it was ok.

I watched “No Way Home” a couple of days ago based on your recommendation. It was a bit confusing, though, in the first 10 seconds of this review that you referred to that film as “Far From Home”. You corrected yourself later in the review; but I thought, “Man! That first scene needs a re-shoot!”

Jared Harris was nice to me on a film shoot. I was an extra.

I don't get it... everyone is bashing it with a laughter without even seen it... I'm watching it right now 39 mins left and i must say so far it is really good. Better than most Marvel movies, except guardians. And i'm surely one of the most harsh movie dissers there is..

Just for the record, Ocasio-Cortez had never made the statement of the mission to the sun meme. It was originally an altered clip augments visuals and audio from real footage of Ocasio-Cortez's late September interview on CBS’ Face the Nation. Funny meme tho!

There is one thing I am curious about... I think it was after the Nobel scene... You see Morbius being told to stand for his award, and see a close-up of his crutches having the arm wraps... when back in the lab, he is shown treating a girl in bed, before moving for the computer.

What I am curious about... Was this supposed to be a cameo of Silhouette from the New Warriors? She used crutches similar to those used by Morbius in the comics.

For this year's October, I'm watching Morbius every day. MORBTOBER BABY!!!

Morbious is an absolute shit movie It Is similar to any movie where Jared Leto stars in. Pretentious plot and characters all badly written,. Nah, this is the worst movie this weird ass guy has ever been a part off.
Jared Leto is a shit actor, who in his crazy mind has a mission to play give the worst actor performances in history.. His only mission is to take artsy roles and shit method act. He is as much as an actor as Frank Sinatra is a qualified British General. He was competent singer back in 2009 in the band 30 Seconds to Mars. Stay away from movies you worthless douchebag. You aren’t artsy or talented , you are shitty and overdone.

Morbius is far from terrible. This is as faithful an adaptation we’re going to get. Straight to the point with action sequences that are pretty unique. Those familiar with the character have been satisfied if you read their comments. The dialogue was good and the friendship with Michael and Milo were convincing. It’s worth noting the villains in many Marvel movies are typically the evil versions of the heroes, which started to become predictable, but it makes sense with Morbius being he’s been portrayed as a tormented anti-hero with no signature arch nemesis to speak of. And I know...I know...the CGI looks fake...but it’s always fake.

The problem with these comic book movies is the writers and directors are always trying to cater to a mature audience who are going to point things out an 8 year old could care less about. If Marvel just would have used their silver age material without compromise, they would have drawn a much younger fan base that would one day become adults. I’m an adult who started collecting at age 4. The Penguin never used the f word, Superman and Batman never killed people and my 46 year old mother at the time loved Morbius. I wish she would have been around long enough to see the movie. They got it right. She would have loved it.
