I remember, there is a file in silent hill 2 where they talk about native Americans living in the area way before the arrival of the european settlers and they were avoidind this place at all cost because it was cursed they said. A bad spirit settled there way before humans first came in the area, without really knowing what it was. Birds, deers and all the other animals of the area avoided this place too makind this place eerily silent.

Silent Hill is a series I’ve always been interested in, but the games just aren’t fun or playable. I ABHOR tank controls. This was also my issue with Resident Evil and Parasite Eve.
