Enjoy the effort, but the battle map graphic is not accurate in the Prussian positions and timing at all.

In this video, the corps are pronounced differently than in the "March of the Eagles" video. ex. ("three" vs "third", "one" vs "first", etc.)

If Devout was at Waterloo instead of ney, napoleon would have won Waterloo.

Just a little nitpick here... describing the formations as 'three corps' or 'one corps' jars with me as I think this is a very modern usage. Sure;y they should be third corps and first corps? Anyone agree?

watching your videos of the napoleonic wars gives me a much deeper detailed insight of what happened on every battles, though Oversimplified video about Napoleon was great, it was too oversimplified to really know what happened in each battles he fought, this is brilliant. Expanded my knowledge about this man

Of course there was a thick fog.. I wonder if these guys were choosing these dates on purpose so that in 200 years, this detail would create a poetic mist…

…and yes, that guy who failed to support Davout and then later stabbed Napoleon in the back. Yes, his descendants still sit on the Swedish throne. You either have your “moment” as a giant or live in comfort as a “conformist-opportunist”.

What makes France's military victories impressive and unique in history is that it has often won its battles alone against coalitions of powers.
Since the victory of Philip Augustus (who won against a coalition led by England), France has always fought against coalitions.
But the most impressive are France's victories against coalitions, in addition to fighting a civil war within France.
No country in history will be able to match the French victories.
